Tarf Hadal is a secondary protagonist from the 2nd installment of the Ys Action RPG Video Game series. Tarf is a young boy whom is the son of a bridge guard in the Lava Cavern town of Burnland and Tarf was kidnapped by Monsters to force the Bridge Guard to not let Adol cross the bridge so naturally Adol must save Tarf from Monsters in order to cross that bridge. While Tarf was imprisoned he made friends with a creature by the name of Keith Fact whom is a demon that was once a human, and after Tarf was rescued he still does occasionally appear in the story of Ys II trying to aid Adol. In the anime adaptation of the 2nd Ys game the only changes to Tarf is that he has brown hair, and the location of his home and place where he is imprisoned is different but other than that he is pretty much the same.
