EDITOR'S OPINIONAlright folks here is the latest X Men Voice Compare and this time its for one of Wolverine's Arch-Enemies namely this Japanese crimelord SILVER SAMURAI! The Silver Samurai's voice acted debut was in the highly renowned X Men that aired on Fox Kids back in the 90's in which he was voiced by Dennis "Ice Man" Akayama in one episode of the series. And while I must say that Dennis' Silver Samurai voice sounds a bit younger than the others but I am not complaining as Dennis' voice was a nice moderately low voice with a somewhat light but noticeable Japanese accent. And as for performances I certainly have no complaints as Dennis' performance certainly suited the Samurai's persona as it gives a nice somber touch as well as its not one of the most memorable performances in that show but it was good nevertheless.
In the X Men the Official Movie Game (and in one episode of Wolverine and the X Men) he was voiced by Keone "Storm Shadow" Young. And Keone's voice is certainly the older sounding voice but its certainly not a bad one as while Keone has a very much Japanese accented fairly low serious mannered voice and performance for the role. And I have no problems with Keone's performance as it can go nice and somber when calm but more energetic yet not overacted when angry as it was overall an above average performance. Overall neither one are perfect (Dennis seems a little too young, while Keone seems a little too old) but both do work with the role fairly well and to be honest I am not entirely sure which one to pick here.
