Transformers Transformers

Comparison of the voice actors who have been the voice of Devastator with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Transformers

Devastator is a supporting antagonist from the Transformers franchise. Devastator has appeared in many different parts of Transformers media, from television shows to movies to comic books. Often portrayed as the combined form of several different Constructicons, Devastator is one of the Decepticons' most powerful weapons. A gestalt with enormous power and destructive capability, a weapon designed to be activated and pointed in the direction of the enemy.

In the Generation One series and movie, Arthur Burghardt stepped up to the mic. The voice he used in the movie is deeper and has some additional FX thrown onto it to make it more monstrous.

Although he doesn't get much material to work with in the aptly-named Devastation, Dave Boat does a servicable job as the Decepticon combiner.

For the Machinima-produced web series Combiner Wars, veteran VA Patrick Seitz joined the fresh-faced cast. Patrick's deep and gruff voice is a perfect fit for Devastator.

In the end, Arthur's movie voice is getting my vote.
