Franchise: Star Wars
An evil Sith Lord trained under Darth Sidious himself, Darth Maul is one of the main antagonists in episode I of the Star Wars saga. A warrior of the Nightbrother clan who manages to kill Qui-Gon Jinn, he is himself slain by Obi-Wan Kenobi. During the Clone Wars however, he of the skull-like face is revived with a deep lust for revenge towards Kenobi.
(This is probably common knowledge by now, but it doesn't hurt to point out: in Episode I, Maul was physically played by Ray Park. Much like the OT's Darth, his voice was thought to be unfitting for the character and so he was dubbed over by Peter Serafinowicz.)
