Arthur "Artie" Pendragon is a secondary protagonist in the Shrek franchise. When King Harold falls ill, he sends Shrek, Donkey and Puss in Boots off to find the rightful heir to the throne - Harold's nephew, Artie. Artie is a student at the Worcestershire Academy, an elite boarding school across the sea. Artie is extremely hesitant at first, refusing to believe - or accept - that he could fulfill such a duty.
