Makoto Kino, the fourth Sailor Senshi, is the wielder of lightning and the strongest of the main five. The strongest of the main five Senshi, Makoto has a strong personality and will that belies inner warmth. Fiercely independent in life thanks to the death of her parents, she's nevertheless one of the most trusty of the group - a great friend and cook, she's truly hearty and hardy.

Makoto is the only one of the main 5 Senshi whose voice never changed during the series's original DiC and Cloverway dubs; Susan Roman voiced her consistently from beginning to end. For Viz's uncut dub in 2014, as well as their dub of Crystal, Amanda Miller takes the stage.
