During the time of the Moon Kingdom's reign in the Silver Millennium many years ago, Luna served as an advisor to Queen Serenity. When the kingdom fell, she was sent to the future to awaken the moon princess and future new queen, Usagi Tsukino herself. Luna serves as Usagi's guardian cat and mentor. Though wise and to the point, Luna is actually more like an older sister than anything, so she's no stranger to joining in on fun and impulsivity, and even has dreams of her own.
