Jack Frost is one of the primary characters in Dreamworks Animation's Rise of the Guardians franchise. Before Jack became a supernatural and immortal being, he was a regular teenage boy living in the 1700s. After an act of bravery, The Man in the Moon bestowed upon Jack magical powers, and he was reborn as Jack Frost, the mischevious and rebelious manifestation of winter. Although hesitant at first for a variety of reasons, Jack eventually joins the Guardians of Childhood to help defeat Pitch.
