EDITOR'S OPINIONA little late-night snack for you fourth meal fanatics here on BTVA. Tonight's PlayStation Month voice compare is that of Slim Cognito, the shady business man that always seems to find you no matter where you are in Ratchet & Clank.
James Horan - Starting with Going Commando, and then in Up Your Arsenal, we're treated with a very shady character that hides to sell you weapons. I mean... A Suck Cannon upgrade... To a minor? Where's the line that subtlety just flat out becomes what it sounds like? What an awesome line, if only you can see Clank's face when he says that. But with an awesome line for an awesome character, you need an awesome portrayal. Horan does his thing and my ears want more.
Patrick Seitz - This one is a little strange, as the reimagining credits the character that was previously in Shady Businessman's place, as Slim Cognito. So he's out of the dark now to deal weapons best he can. Patrick does a pretty good job at making a weird guy sound like he wants to help you, if only to benefit himself in the end. Nicely done.
I can say that the reimagining probably should have kept the RYNO Salesman and Slim Cognito as separate characters, but hey, it is what it is. I must say that I prefer the original take by far, so my vote goes to James Horan. He even gave me a free Suck Cannon upgrade.
