Tommy made his first appearance in Might Morphin Power Rangers. Tommy was kidnapped by Rita and became the first sixth Ranger but since he was under Rita's control he fought the rangers for a while. However, he was freed from her control and joined the team. However Tommy would have to give up the Green Ranger power but would soon became the White Ranger and he led the team. Later in Power Rangers Zeo, Tommy would lead the team once again as Zeo Red. In Power Rangers Turbo, Tommy lead the team a forth time as the Red Turbo Ranger however he would later be replaced by TJ. Tommy didn't have a major in Power Rangers (besides his cameo in Forever Red) until Dino Thunder where he became the Black Dino Ranger.
