Cruger is the leader of S.P.D. Cruger was in the first formed S.P.D where he fought Grumm's forces for the first time and sadly lost his family and his home planet. After coming to terms with his lost he became the S.P.D Shadow Ranger (though there are some questions as how his snout fits in the helmet and unlike his Sentai counterpart he never really mentions it). Cruger is the mentor and sometimes even a father figure to the S.P.D Rangers and is most of the time level headed and calm.
