Noob Saibot

Comparison of the voice actors who have been the voice of Noob Saibot with sound clips and images.

Number of Comparisons: 4
Franchise: Mortal Kombat

Bi-Han was an assassin for the Lin Kuei clan. He was a master of ice magic. He was known as Sub-Zero. Then he died. But death was not enough to stop Bi-Han. The sorcerer Quan Chi brought him back to life as the shadowy revenant Noob Saibot. Unfortunately, all of Bi-Han's negative traits were amplified. His arrogance became borderline narcissism and his brutality became outright bloodlust. Whatever humanity he once had is now gone.

Special thanks to Bry for additional sound clips.

Jim Cummings is an interesting choice for Bi-Han. Unfortunately his performance doesn't exactly rise beyond, "Silly cartoon henchman." A shame, really.

Jamieson Price had to opportunity to portray Bi-Han as both Sub-Zero and Noob Saibot. As the former he was suitably arrogant and boastful. As the later he kept those elements while making his voice colder, yet no less arrogant. It isn't an award winning performance, but it is pretty darn solid and I have no real complaints.

For Mortal Kombat 11 somewhere along the way it was decided to make Noob sound like Dr. Claw from Inspector Gadget. I do not understand this decision. That voice is so inherently silly and exaggerated it's difficult to take it seriously. For his part Sean Chiplock goes far outside of his normal range for Noob, but the idea of having Noob sound like this is flawed to the point where I don't think anyone could have made it work.

With all that said, I have to go with Jamieson Price.
