Undisciplined and dangerous, Kano is a thug for hire. From weapons dealing to cold-blooded murder, his military training has made him the go-to man for the Black Dragon. But when an operation went to hell and his face horribly mutilated, Kano's crime spree was almost ended. Ever the survivor, he used his underworld connections to find a cyberneticist capable of repairing the damage. Kano was fitted with several high-tech enhancements, most notably his eye laser. With these new weapons, Kano's reign of terror has only just begun.
Hello everyone, and welcome to Mortal Kombat week! We'll be taking a look at the Mortal Kombat fighters and their performances over the years!
The first person to have voiced Kano in any media is Michael Des Barres. Unfortunately, Michael sounds rather weaselly and stereotypically Australian, and the high pitch tone gets a bit grating after a while.
David Allen sounds pretty good and even cool for his time, but he never really goes beyond "thug for hire", and just sounds one-note.
McConnohie sounds really great, and a bit unrecognizable from his other roles. He captures the "thug for hire" aspect of Kano and gives it more oomph than what was given to him by previous actors.
Brian Kesinger sounds less like Kano and more like a generic bad guy.
JB Blanc sounds really badass, and much like McConnohie's take except a bit more leaning in the Australian aspect rather than the thug part. Still, he is really good in MK11.
