Frigga

Comparison of the voice actors who have been the voice of Frigga with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Mighty Thor

Frigga is a supporting protagonist in the Mighty Thor series whose Comic Book Debut was in Journey into Mystery #92 in May of 1963. Frigga is the Goddess of Marriage and is the Queen and Wife of Odin as she is also the Stepmother of Thor, the Foster Mother of Loki though she is also the Biological Mother of Balder. Frigga does care for her children (though Loki certainly can be an exception) and does protect them especially Balder as she did cast a spell to protect him from harm. While Frigga is as strong as the average Asgardian (which is of course far stronger than the average human) but her main forte is that she is a mage who can use various types of magic.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Today on the Mighty Thor VC section we take a look at the Queen of Asgard... FRIGGA! Now let us begin...

Grey Deslisle- Well first of all let me say that this is a somewhat interesting change of pace for Grey (as she does seem to be trying to channel Tress MacNeille sort to speak). Anyways Grey's voice does as a suitably elderly (and slightly Euro) sound to it as her voice and performance does suit this show's take on the role pretty well and is a good example of the voice work in the show.

Deborah Jane McKinely- Deborah's voice felt very natural for the role as a rather regal elderly Queen as she does a good job playing the role of a Queen who is concerned for her king while she has nothing but contempt fr her treacherous son. So basically Deborah's work as Frigga suited the role very well and is a fine example of the voice work in that Motion Comic.

Both of these ladies did very well in the role but I will actually go with Deborah a bit more though but Grey was very close.
