Psycho

Comparison of the voice actors who have been the voice of Psycho with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Max Steel

Pyscho is one of the primary antagonists in the Max Steel franchise. Credited with "creating" Max Steel, he's a pyschotic villain who's earned the nickname of 'Smiley', which he is not overly fond of. One of the Dread Organization's top operatives, his real name and identity is a mystery. He wears a lifelike human mask over his metal-skull face and is armed (literally) with a bionic weapon on his right side. He also commands an army of Psycho Droids.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Psycho's first foray into the franchise was with the original 2000 series, where he was voiced by Keith Szarabajka. Keith's low, raspy voice helps sell the more psychotic angle of the character, along with his calm personality.

When the franchise turned to the Vancouver talent pool to record for the DTV movies, Brian Drummond was tasking with voicing the metal-visaged villain. Brian continues the trend of Psycho's quiet, whispery voice, but now embues Pyscho with the occassional louder, theatrical delivery. I also like the slight metallic echo that they added to his voice.

I'm voting for Brian, but Keith is a very, very close second.
