Happy St. Patricks Day everyone! Well today we shall start off the General Mills VC section with this famous Leprechaun... LUCKY! Lucky made his debut in commercials back in 1963 in which Arthur Anderson voiced Lucky. Later on in Arthur's life he once confessed that he is not Irish at all despite being well known for voicing a Leprechaun but hey its a good sign of Arthur's talent then as he can pull off the Irish accent so well. But still Arthur did do a very good Leprechaun voice which suited the Lucky Charm's commercials well for almost 3 decades.In 1992 Arthur Anderson retired from the role of Lucky in which Doug Preis has taken over the role in which he still voices Lucky even to this day. Doug's attempt at a Irish accent worked pretty well for Lucky as well too as he can go from making Lucky sound whimsical to trying to evade the Children whom are always after his Lucky Charms. Doug Preis was a pretty good replacement for Arthur Anderson as the modern voice of Lucky the Leprechaun. Overall I am going with both as they both did well as Lucky the Leprechaun here.
