Shirou Emiya is the main protagonist of Fate/stay night. He is thrust
into the fifth Holy Grail War and is the Master of Saber. The sole
survivor of a fire in Fuyuki City during the fourth Holy Grail War, he
was found by his adopted father Kiritsugu Emiya, who he grew to idolize.
Though his role and relationships change drastically depending on the
route of the original visual novel, his dream to become an "Ally of
Justice" is unwavering. An alternate version of Shirou appears in
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya, where he lives with his adoptive sister
Illya.
