As an adult, Chi-Chi is a prominent supporting character throughout Dragon Ball. The beloved daughter of the Ox King, she fell in love with the young Goku thanks to his crude method of determining people's sex, which she took as a sign of affection--and as a result, leading to his casual promise to marry her. Remembering this moment, Chi-Chi enters the Tenkaichi Budokai tournament years later in an attempt to reunite with Goku... only to discover that he remembers neither making the promise, nor who she even is. Despite that, Goku agrees to marry her and together they have a new Son, Gohan (and later Goten). Chi-Chi is the dominant force in the household, and is fiercely unwilling to put up with Goku's laidback attitude and its potential influence on Gohan.
In the Ocean Group dub of Dragon Ball Z, Chi-Chi is mainly voiced by Laara Sadiq, with Lisa Ann Beley filling in for a few episodes and movies.
In all media dubbed by Funimation, Chi-Chi is voiced by Cynthia Cranz.
For the alternate Blue Water-recorded dubs of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT, Chi-Chi is voiced by Carol Anne Day in the former series, and by Debbie Munro in the latter.
For AB Groupe's alternate dubs of the various Dragon Ball Z movies and specials, Sharon Mann voices Chi-Chi.
