Madame Rouge is a DC Comics supervillainess who first appeared in Doom Patrol vol. 1 #86 (1964). She was originally a French stage actress named Laura De Mille who was involved in a car accident where she developed a good/evil split personality. This attracted the attention of The Brain, who experimented on her De Mille and suppressed her "good" personality and made her "evil" personality dominant. Later experiments gave De Mille the ability to shapeshift her appearance and stretch her limbs. Madame Rouge then became a member of the Brotherhood of Evil and clashed with the Doom Patrol on several occasions.
