Kamon Godai / Day is a B-Shot (a competitive B-Daman player) from the south side of Crestland and the owner of the power/rapid fire-type B-Daman Drive Garuburn. He is a perpetually energetic boy of easily-boiled blood and holds an ambition towards winning his way to the top of the B-Daman world. He lives with his older sister Aona (with whom he helps manage their restaurant), but holds no previous recollection of his family or B-Daman.
Bosch was cast as Kamon for the character's brief cameo in the finale of Crossfire, and as such was obviously intended to voice Kamon full-time in a potential L.A.-based dub for Fireblast that, for some reason or another, never came to fruition. Regardless of the circumstances, Bosch's line and delivery get the character's hot-blooded nature across quite quickly and nicely (even if he sounds a bit too old for the part), and give a good, clear picture of what could've been.
Needless to say, Thompson was given much meatier material to chew on, and on top of that, his performance both conveys the image of a spirited youth and gives him a range beyond the general character type very effectively. I'm putting my vote on Thompson here.
