Franchise: Asterix
Obelix is the sidekick and best friend of Asterix. He is physically strong, but generally naive and not too bright (although he does have rare moments of inspiration and clarity). He loves eating (especially roast boar), his little dog Dogmatix, and, most of all, thrashing the unfortunate Romans. Due to a childhood accident (in which he fell into the pot), he is forbidden from having any Magic Potion, a restriction he deeply resents.
