Cacofonix

Comparison of the voice actors who have been the voice of Cacofonix with sound clips and images.
Franchise: Asterix

Cacofonix is the resident bard of Asterix's village.  Unfortunately, he suffers from the Dunning-Kruger effect, believing he is infinitely more talented than he actually is.  More often than not, his attempts to show off his "talents" result in him receiving mockery and abuse from his fellow villagers, particularly the village blacksmith, Fulliautomatix.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Most of these guys, unfortunately, suffer from a serious lack of material, making full judgement very difficult.  That said, I'm giving my vote to Alan Marriott.  He does a great job of sounding conceited and deluded, and yet, unlike most portrayals, has a melodious voice that suggests the character has at least some degree of talent - just not as much as he likes to think.  That said, Rik Mayall is a very close second.
