Franchise: Adventures from the Book of Virtues

Zach Nichols is a young Caucasian boy who acts as the male half of the show's human main characters. As with his female friend Annie Redfeather, his personality traits and flaws hinge on what virtue is to be learned that day. Zach is voiced by Pamela Adlon in the original versions of the show's first two seasons, by Chio Su-Ping in the redubbed versions of the show's first two seasons and by Andrew Francis in the show's third season.

EDITOR'S OPINION

Adlon does a fine enough acting performance as a young boy character and is fairly convincing in the part. Su-Ping, however, isn't so much; her attempt at a masculine sound comes off as forced and her stilted delivery makes it too clear that English isn't her first language. Francis, aside from actually being the same age as his character at the time, performs very naturally and brings much authenticity to the role. I'm gonna go with Francis here.
