The most disappointing aspect in SM is the fact that they used two of the Kahunas for the E4, when GF could have easily just selected two of the Captains as the remaining two E4.

Or just create two original E4 members, like previous regions. In any case, Alola has the most disappointing E4, both in terms of originality, and lack of a challenge in rematches. Seriously GF - increasing the E4's teams by 10 levels in a rematch with the exact same team isn't most Pokemon players' idea of challenging.

What about Mega Evolutions? Switching up teams? Come on.

This game was so good, the world is absolutely beautiful, they kept the great 3D Pokemon models from the last gen and upscaled everything else and like the last gen petting Pokemon is always cute

Best Pokemon games ever. This game's characters put a smile on my face like no other, the Alolan forms were an amazing way to reinvent older Pokemon (MUCH better than X/Y's mega evolutions, to me), the character designs, new Pokemon, and Alola's many locales were full of colour and creativity, the overall structure and execution of the game managed to feel like a true, modern RPG rather than "just a Pokemon game", and the story actually kind of tore me up by the end. There are a couple of small flaws, but overall, these are to me, by far the best Pokemon games to date and probably the pinnacle of the series. Might even be my favourite games of the year. Very well done Game Freak, and a perfect testament to 20 years (blimey) of the franchise.

There's a Pokemon trainer named Ikue who only has a Pikachu and cries Pika when she loses. Pretty funny reference.

This has already been confirmed? So much Pikachu bias from the creators, but to be fair, it'd be hard to voice every Pokémon A) before the new Pokémon appear in the anime and are assigned voice actors, and B) dub said voices into every language.

Pikachu is easy because both its name and voice actor are the same in virtually every language.
