Wasted potential...
wasted potential everywhere.

Definitely has a great cast though with Marc Silk, Nolan North, Josh Keaton, Maria Darling, J.S. Gilbert, Dan Green (which was a neat surprise) and many others.

 1 Shout Out!
I'd be open to see a sequel to this game. With even more characters.

I've been trying to find out which studio this was recorded at, and no luck. My guess is either NYAV Post, or NGP. Anyone got any answers?

English: Soundelux
Japanese: AC Create

The international english actors probably had local studios or used ISDN/some other method of remote recording if not flown in.

@NCZ Thanks! :)

Is there anyone I can ask for questions about this page's cast arrangement?

 4 Shout Outs!
Super Sony Bros.
Nightmare Crusher

It's weird how there are two characters originally played by Clancy Brown in the game yet he only reprises one of them.

@Nightmare Crusher Are you referring to Hades? Because both of his actors are in this game, and neither one of them gets to voice him.

@solidejake I am referring to Hades. I didn't even remember that Nolan North voiced him before. It makes the casting choice even weirder.

Loved that Sony have done their own version of Smash Bros. Also loved how they got previous VAs to reprise their roles. (JS Gilbert, Nolan North, TC Carson and David Kaye spring to mind)

The roster is a bit lacklaster though. Would have liked to see Lara Croft, Crash and Cloud or Lightning in the game. Maybe even KOS-MOS. (Xenosaga series was on PS2)

 3 Shout Outs!
I'm surprised that no one from Assassin's Creed is in this game!

@SM Scorx Or Tomb Raider.

Japanese voiced confirmed. Well, most of them.
PaRappa, Dante and Sir Daniel are the only ones who have no JPN voice.

@Belial Edge *VOICES, ugh. It's a bitch to deal with misspelled comments of all sorts.

Seeing most of the original Japanese Voice Actors for the characters in their home series makes me feel that for the Japanese version of this game, a lot of fans are gonna be rolling around in joy for seeing such famous names.

The list is rather comprehensive, but there is one large mistake: Spike is NOT voiced by Marc Silk. Checked the credits, and curiously Spike is one of only 2 characters with actual dialogue that doesn't get a voice credit at all! (Polygon Man is the other one) Silk IS however credited for voicing Specter, who is on the Time Station level. Oh and while I'm here:

Clancy Brown: Baron Praxis
Charlean Carmon: Katy Kat
David Collins: Announcer + Negativitron
Armstead Christian: PJ Berri
Tara Darby: Dollface
Maria Darling: Charu
Grey Delisle: Carmelita + Female Golfer
Jason Donovan: Buzz
Stephen Fry (HELL YES): Sackboy Narrator
Marc Graue: Mr.Zurkon + Vox Populi person
Kenya Hathaway: Sunny Funny
Tom Kane: Fat Princess narrator + Vox Populi person
Juliet Landau: Little Sister
Colin McFarlane: Buzz announcer
Richard McGonagle: Sully
Matt Morton: Hades
Chris Murphy: Murray
Matt Olsen: Bentley
Marc Silk: Specter + Sir Dan narrator+ male golfer
Armin Shimerman: Andrew Ryan + Dr. Nefarious + Vox Populi person
Jay Snyder: Professor
Jim Ward: Captain Quark + soldier on San Francisco
Ryu Watabe: Chop Chop Master Onion

All confirmed by the in-game credits, which btw are some of the longest credits I've ever seen!

@crashandcortex Any images to help us out? I have the credits (in fact, you can click on the checkmarks to show them), but I obviously can't add them if I don't have images. And these requests should be in the forums FYI.

I added Marc Silk to Spike since he voiced him in a previous game and it seemed plausible. I'll delete the credit for now.

@NCZ Starting at around 17:14 here, the credits list each actor in alphabetical order and give all of the credits:

@crashandcortex I think you might've misinterpreted. I already have the end credits and they're already on the site. It's images of the characters I need.

Damn It! Why can't Mike Irwin return as Jak?
said at 2:56 PM on Fri Apr 19 2013
@Lpfan120 Because he left voice acting over half a decade ago?
said at 6:46 PM on Mon Sep 2 2013
@pokemastanumba1 Dred Foxx left 12 years ago, he's still in it, and Irwin's still in acting.
said at 5:40 PM on Tue Sep 3 2013
@NAFEDUDE I wasn't talking about Foxx, he already reprised PaRappa. As for Mike, I'm not sure if it's the same case (note that he didn't reprise Speedy in the recent Teen Titans Go! series, in which every other VA has reprised their roles from the original 2000s series).
said at 12:19 PM on Sun Nov 10 2013
@pokemastanumba1 I think you misread my post. I said Foxx came back as PaRappa DESPITE retiring from VA 12 years ago. Mike, on the other hand, is not only in acting, but reprised the role in PS Move Heroes. The only reason he wasn't in that GO! episode as Speedy was for comedy, a fact that was incredibly obvious.
said at 3:39 PM on Wed Nov 13 2013
@pokemastanumba1 Sorry if I sounded really jerkish earlier. Kinda a problem I have.

Oh yeah, forgot 1 voice:
Buzz: Jason Donovan
said at 1:51 PM on Fri Oct 19 2012
A few voices are confirmed right now:

Andrew Ryan: Armin Shimerman
Ratchet: James Arnold Taylor
Clank: David Spade
Captain Quark: Jim Ward
Mr. Zurkon: Marc Graue
Sweet Tooth: JS Gilbert
Colonel Radec: Sean Pertwee
Evil Cole: Eric Ladin
Jak: Josh Keaton
Daxter: Max Casella
Kratos: TC Carson
Sly Cooper: Kevin Miller
Fat Princess: Tara Strong
"Dante": Tim Philips
Nariko: Jennifer Hale

Honestly got no idea who's doing Raiden (Hayter or Quinton?) or Spike, but everybody else with actual voices are pretty much covered.

@crashandcortex Is there a source for these?

For the record, Evil Cole and Good Cole are being lumped together as "Cole Macgrath" on this site, since they're the same character. It's in the same vein as Mario and Dr. Mario in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

said at 1:59 PM on Fri Oct 19 2012
@crashandcortex Oh, by the way, even though this has nothing to do with anything, I love how you put quotation marks around "Dante"'s name. Nice touch!
said at 2:14 PM on Fri Oct 19 2012
Most of them are taken via a combination of checking the characters' voices in past games and checking the leaked voice clips by Rumba Lumba on Youtube. They're definitely accurate mind. (ie the Andrew Ryan voice clips for Big Daddy were put on Youtube before a trailer showing Ryan acting as his voice was put online) I had to look online to try and find a consensus for who voices the girls though, so they may not be 100% accurate, but the rest of them are as clear as crystal.

Here's Rumba's Youtube if you want to hear some of the clips:

@crashandcortex I'll check these out once I get the chance. Thanks!

@NCZ As a little note there are also other stage characters (Specter and a few Twisted Metal characters off the top of my head, one of which is voiced by Clancy Brown) which I haven't mentioned because I'm still unsure of voices, and I also don't know how many of these cameo roles are in the game to begin with. But thanks for replying! :)
said at 3:14 AM on Sun Oct 21 2012
@crashandcortex Don't forget Grey DeLisle as Carmelita Fox.
said at 2:55 PM on Fri Apr 19 2013
@D.A.V.E. She only made a small cameo.
said at 12:20 PM on Sun Nov 10 2013
@pokemastanumba1 A speaking cameo. Still counts.

Also responding to month old comments FTW!

Fingers crossed that either Cloud or Lightning will get in the game. Also hoping for Crash and Lara Croft to show up; they're pretty iconic to the Playstation brand, so I'd be surprised if they're absent.
said at 10:30 PM on Sat Oct 13 2012
Judging based on the lack of comments, I guess not many people are looking forward to this game? ...Ah, it can't be helped. :-/

Anyway, the roster looks pretty solid (at least of the time of me writing this), but yeah, it could definitely use some improvement. Personally, I'm like to see Gex, Jill Valentine, Sam Fisher, and (especially) Lara Croft, but given how close the release date is, I'm not sure if they'll make it or not. (even though DLC could be an option) :(
said at 3:07 AM on Sun Oct 14 2012
@pokemastanumba1 Gex would be AWESOME to see in this game...but admittedly it seems unlikely, which is a shame...
said at 6:22 PM on Fri Aug 31 2012
I hope they announce Snake, Crash and Spyro at the end...
said at 10:00 AM on Sun Aug 19 2012
It would be cool if there were some Tenchu characters in this game. Specifically Onikage and Rikimaru.

I know that's not likely going to happen, but I can dream...
