The 3rd game in the Jak series. It's the best out of all of them. No more collecting (even though it's pretty fun) no unfair difficulty and you're not required to do everything.

A sequel at it's finest.

@Ross123 I like this game, but I'm really not a big fan of all the vehicle missions. I preferred the action/platformer style of the first two. The second game had a lot of vehicle missions in it too, but in this game it went kind of overboard, IMO. The desert raiders are extremely annoying.

@PsychicVoiceSpy I respectfully disagree with you on the vehicle sections in this game since I prefer the way they handle compared to the ones in Jak 2. Not to mention the Jak 2 vehicle sections had an unfair difficulty to them compared to this game.

But hey if you don't like them, more power to you. But if there's 1 thing to complain about, it's the leaper lizards for me since they control very loosely and go all over the place.

@Ross123 I prefer the vehicle missions in Jak 3 over the ones in Jak 2 as well, I just wish there wasn't as many of them. The vehicle missions are less rage-inducing compared to having to speed through the cramped environments of Haven City in Jak 2, but it's still a little too much driving around in the desert for my tastes when I'd rather be exploring different types of areas.

@PsychicVoiceSpy That I agree with.

If another Jak & Daxter game ever gets made where we are given a huge open world then they should have a lot more exploring involved as well as going around doing missions.

Cause in both the 2nd & 3rd games, there was nothing really to look for. Also, I can only attack so many citizens (oh I'm so cruel, shame on me) and roam around for so long before getting bored.

@Ross123 There is a new Jak and Daxter, it's called Sonic Boom. :D

@NCZ So that explains why Sonic looks like he's dressed like Jak a bit.

Ha Ha, very funny. Just because they share similar gameplay.

@Ross123 Well that and because Bob Rafei's company is behind Sonic Boom.

@CatsTuxedo So he's the guy behind the company Big Red Button. I'd never heard of that game developing company until Sonic Boom was announced. Wonder if he's done a good job on the game just like he did with Jak over here.

@Ross123 I'm afraid not. : ( However, that's only because Sonic Team decided to be a pack of idiots again and rushed them to release it on a holiday. You'd think Sonic Team would've learned from Sonic '06!

@mdalsted Sorry to be pedantic, but Sonic Team had nothing to do with Sonic Boom.

Sonic Team is a developer that is part of Sega, the larger company that publishes the Sonic games.

Sonic Boom was developed by a separate company Big Red Button, but still published by Sega.

Sonic Team is not the publisher of the Sonic games, they just do the grunt work of actually making them - executive decisions involving the release timing of games is not up to them, and most developers would entirely be in favour of extended development time if the situation calls for it. If there's anyone to blame for rushed games, it's the publishers (so in this case, Sega).

@mdalsted Yes I know Bob and the crew that used to be Big Red Button did a terrible job with Sonic Boom.

Now, Sonic is just going to be a mobile title only but Sega really should just let him retire instead.

@Ross123 You do know that the mobile game doesn't have any effect on their team doing on consoles and they say that they would continue doing that if they would get their old priorities back on top. I'm speaking out of context but hey, it's just me.

@SteelEthlan Originally I heard they were just going to be making mobile games from now on but glad to see that this isn't the case.
