Remember when this show used to be great? Good times.

This show really needs better voice direction, both Lisa and Marges voices are the most hard ones to listen to especially these last few years.

Voice direction can't do much about the cast's vocal cords being 30 years older than when they started the show, unfortunately.

Too bad the later episodes have gone stale. :/

That Futurama crossover was a real treat.

Ditto. Maybe it's just me but for the first time in ages I've actually been liking The Simpsons again. A good chunk of season 26 episodes have actually been pretty good (definitely above average vs. past seasons). "Simpsorama" might have given the show a jolt of life again. As a long time fan I also appreciate how some of the writers are including some little new details about certain characters. e.g. Moleman was once the former Mayor of Springfield, Milhouse's parents are actually cousins... (I actually lol at this; it explains why they look so similar)

@immblueversion @Jackson_H I agree with the both of you that the "Simpsorama" episode rocked.

Also, it was implied that both Kang and Kodos are actually female, even though they talk like men. I found that to be weird. I knew one of them was female as Kang called Kodos "my sister".

Finally, the end credits featuring Ralph's tombstone saying 2006-2017, made me think "Are they going to kill Ralph off in a few years?", yet an interview with one of the people associated with the show said that they are not killing any more characters off. But, we'll see about that.

@immblueversion It was fun and entertaining episode, but I really wish that it had been two-parter like the Family Guy crossover. So much wasted potential and character interaction that would have been a treat to see.

 5 Shout Outs!
Got some of the early seasons on DVD for Christmas (back when this show was amazing).

I never realized how badly syndicated episodes were hacked up and edited just to make a bit more time for commercials... I'm seeing a lot of restored footage and it's great; it's like watching the show again for the very first time!

I guess the lesson here is (concerning all TV series and not just The Simpsons) is watch the original broadcast or buy the DVDs if you don't want to get screwed over by edited rerun episodes in the future.

Man, this show is amazing! I truely love it, I really do. The Characters, the episode stories, everything about this is just simply wonderful.

This used to be funny back in Seasons 1-10. Seasons 11-15 were ok but now it just sucks. Simpsons should have ended ages ago & yet it is on Season 25. I hope it ends soon but they should end TOH episodes as they are really bad nowadays.

@Ross123 FOX is in denial that the show has become awful. And apparently so has anybody who still watches it.

I often forget the Simpsons used to actually be great because the show has been on so bloody long.

@whyofbladez Explains the show is still on the air.

Look I get that the show has a world record for the most episodes produced for sitcom or something like and I'm guessing they want to make sure they hold on to it. But a record means nothing if your show isn't good anymore.

If I had a favorite character, it would be someone who wasn't prone to so much... Wangst.
