I'm sad that as time goes on it seems less and less likely this dub will continue. Even despite all the edits; I really enjoyed watching it on Disney XD.

@whyofbladez Maybe Disney was too invested on having "Yo-Kai Watch" and "Pokemon" on their anime block and wanted to focus on those especially the former.

@DisneyAnimefan1995 That's most likely the case.

I was actually getting use to watching this every summer but looks like that streak ends this year...

Maybe TPTB will resume the dub as the 2020 Olympics get closer or I don't know maybe release that critically acclaimed film Stand By Me Doraemon which apparently is already dubbed...

@Troodon2 Yeah, like wow, Ryan Evans from High School Musical was in this dub?

Is this dub union? I assumed it was non-union but Kari Wahlgren is in this?

or were they originally non-union but are now unionized?

With the addition of Crispin Freeman that definitely seems to be the case

I love this show. It's like Hey Arnold meets Sgt. Frog! It's really fun, and the voice acting is great. Despite being an "edited" dub, I think it turned out great, since very little appears to be changed that much. It's still a very entertaining show. I know it's been a cultural phenomenon in Japan since the 60s, and I hope it captures at least a LITTLE bit of that spark over here too.

After Doraemon in Japanese for a very long time, this English cast is all right, especially Doraemon and Suneo, who sound the closest to their original Japanese voices. If only Nobita sounded younger and more age-appropriate, though...

It's been ages since I've hear Mona Marshall in an anime, much less as a lead role. Nice to see Kaiji Tang scoring some bigger roles as well.

Doraemon is dubbed by Mona Marshall?
I think his VA is appropriate.
