 1 Shout Out!
Such a perfect cast all round, such a shame Saban didn't finish the series, would have been interesting to see who they would have gotten to play the older characters.

Everybody always complains about Vic, and I honestly don't know why. I love how he sounds as Kiriha - his aloof tone, the pitch of his voice and the attitude all suit the character perfectly. And this is coming from someone whose favorite Japanese voice actor played the original.

@Beldarius No, I'm not one of those fangirls whose opinions change on a whim. Takeshi Kusao's held my top-1 spot for 11 years so you know I'm serious when I say that about Vic.

@Pancake_Scoodle No, I'm serious. I REALLY like this cast a LOT

@Pancake_Scoodle For all its flaws, Fusion's voice cast certainly wasn't one of them.

@Pancake_Scoodle The only thing that could of made the cast better would of been if Troy Baker had voiced Gravimon. Seriously, that would of been PERFECT casting.

As Saban seems to left Digimon behind for the time being while Adventure tri. gets dubbed elsewhere, I'll have to say my goodbyes to this strange era of Digimon dubbing. You weren't perfect, you weren't even finished, but you certainly made me laugh.

@Scrappy-Fan92 I liked season 2 at the very least, sad we won't get a stab a three, seeing who they got back would have been cool.

@Scrappy-Fan92 We won't know that until Saban gives us an update on season 3.

I hope the third arc of fusion get dub because that arc is where it at especially with Digimon now having a resurgence with the new series

This series needs to be completed so I can binge watch it... it's been a while since I've seen a full, McGlynn-voice-directed, Digimon series.

@FUNiman Ben Diskin posted that Mary Elizabeth McGlynn stopped working on this series back at around episode 18 or so, also evident in that she hasn't done any one-off roles since Shakkoumon, and Michelle Ruff replaced her as Mikey's mum.

Darn. Well if the dub gets completed at all I will still watch it... if it ever happens.

I wanna hear Jim Cummings do a role.

@Troodon2 Non union? Not likely.
said at 4:18 AM on Tue Feb 16 2016
@Caley Ditto, even though I enjoy Jim Cummings as a voice actor, he really doesn't do ADR dubbing in projects outside of the Studio Ghibli films distributed by Disney and the KH games.

Also, you sure the Digimon series is non-union, I do believe they're Unionized given that some of the previous installments that were dubbed by Saban (e.g. Tamers, Data Squad) are also Union. I also don't think it's out of the question if some of the actors who voiced the characters from previous Digimon literations could return for that special crossover episode of Fusion once they start dubbing it, although I won't hold my breath on this one.

I forgot how weirdly awesome Digimon dubs are! I don't know if its the writers, voice director or the actors themselves or a mixture of all of them but it seems like they are having a lot of fun.

@Music Meister
What's there to say? Digimon brought the same level of exposure to the West Coast dubbing scene as Pokemon did for the East.

Are the episodes with Tai in English or his VA confirmed? Just wondering if Josh is back.
said at 11:07 PM on Sat Sep 14 2013
@pete Not at the moment. There are rumors about him returning, but nothing is confirmed. I'm not sure when the character appears, but I THINK it might be a while.
said at 11:51 AM on Mon Sep 16 2013
@pete Plus that's a ways off, that's in what is technically the next season of this series. Depending on how well this show does it may never come up. Plus, Davis, Takato, Takuya, Marcus, Joe, Ken, Matt, and then some all show up as well.

@GothamRed I know that because I looked into it and even requested their seiyuus.
said at 1:53 PM on Mon Sep 16 2013
@PurpleWarrior13 It is because I looked. I wasn't even aware when this was coming out but not till October.

@pete The scene is where all the leaders digivolve to their highest forms is really cool.
said at 9:40 AM on Fri Mar 28 2014
@pete It's going to be really hard to get Josh I feel since he's been retired for about 8 years now and is focusing on a magic career instead. If anything they'll probably get Jason Spisak back.

And as far as I know with the other members that may return in that one episode, I think Michael Reisz (Matt and Takuya) is also retired since he hasn't done any voice work for 5 years, so they may have to find a vocal replacement for him too.

@skeletonking1234 I wasn't sure on that but thanks for the info.

@skeletonking1234 his voice for takuya wss already replaced, withbthe short digimon frontier move. In that case tskuya wss voiced by Dave Wittenberg.

@pete with the* and Takuya* I mean.
said at 6:32 PM on Tue Jan 13 2015
@TheDark_Abyss But since Dave barely does anime voice acting anymore, who would make an alternative. I suggest either Johnny Yong Bosch or Erik Scott Kimerer (it would be his first Studiopolis role)
