Red Dead Redemption Lead Voice Actor Returns

Despite Red Dead Redemption 2 being a prequel to Rockstar's hit 2010 Western action adventure title, it's been known that the original's protagonist John Marston would be in the game (he's appeared in numerous trailers).

However, given the character would be a younger age, it was unknown whether or not the original voice actor Rob Wiethoff would return. According to GameRant, Wiethoff will indeed reprise the role. And while Marston may no longer be the lead character, he is expected to play an important part in the game's story. Here, it will follow outlaw Arthur Morgan in the American Old West in the year 1899 (set 12 years before Red Dead 1).

Developer Rockstar claims that Red Dead 2 is their biggest game yet, both in size and scale (beating Grand Theft Auto). It's open world environment features both single and multiplayer modes.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will gallop it's way onto consoles on October 26th 2018.
