Julie Andrews Has A Voice Role In AquamanReported by Foxwolf on Friday, November 23rd 2018
The original Mary Poppins joins the deep blue sea as the Karathen, a mythical undersea creature who plays a pivotal part in Arthur Curry's (played Jason Momao) journey as Aquaman in the film.
Producer Peter Safran said, "We wanted the Karathen to have the voice of a classic British actress, albeit somewhat digitally altered. And when we found out Julie was interested and available and excited to do it, casting her was a no-brainer."
While it's been a numer of years since Andrews has graced the silver screen with her physical appearance, the Oscar-winning actress has voiced numerous characters in big movies franchises such as Shrek and Despicable Me, where she played Queen Lillian and Gru's mother respectively.
Catch Andrews as the Karathen when Aquaman dives into theaters on December 21st 2018.
