Dante Basco Talks Briefly About Live Action Avatar

Netflix announced a live action Avatar: The Last Airbender series back in 2018, with the animated series' original creators Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko at the helm. Other than the released teaser image, little news has surfaced since then.

But with the shows recent return to Netflix, chatter has started up again. ScreenRant had a brief chat with Dante Basco about upcoming live action adaptation, and the voice of Prince Zuko had this to say:

"I don’t know specifically who I would want to see play Zuko. All of that is dependent upon how you cast the whole gang and how the world works out. I’m just excited that Mike [DiMartino] and Bryan [Konietzko] are at the helm of it all, and we’ve had some conversations. They know I’m here as part of the family to help out in any way, and we’ll see as it gets closer how the whole cast comes together. I’m excited as much as anybody else."

All three seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender can be streamed now on Netflix.
