| Description:
Maou Yuusha was originally a Light Novel adapted into Anime in 2013. Maoyu - Maoy Yuusha is a story between the Maou (Demon Lord) and the Hero. The story starts during the climax of the typical Final Battle in an adventure story. However, armed with knowledge of economy and agriculture, the Maou is able to persuade their archenemy, Hero to join her fight to bring an end in the war between the Demon and Human worlds. The unique thing about this story is that the characters that appear are all referred to by the name of their jobs, such as Hero, Young Merchant, and Lone Winter King, rather than by actual names. T currently 3 Drama CD's have been made for Maoyu in Japanese and having listened to it, I have fallen in love with the emotion and images that it gave to my imagination. I hope to be able to make another version of this in English in order to share it to more people. I will cast based on: 1. how well you project the emotions through your voice (because this is an audio CD, so everything has to be 'seen' through the voice) 2. How well you portray your character, you don't have to know the story, but at least read the character description to get a feel of the character you're auditioning for! 3. Dedication. Please be willing to stick with it. 4. Most importantly of all, have fun and enjoy it! This is a fun story and as long as the actors enjoy it, i'm sure the audience will as well ^^ If possible, I hope to do the first and third Drama CD if possible. The script is being written as we speak (er as I type?). Once I have all the cast members, it will be go go go! More characters might be added as I go through the CD and translating. |
