Hey guys. So I made this new game to help voice actors of any level grow as performers. It focuses on voice acting and improv. You record some dialogue, then pass it onto someone else and they respond, then to the next etc. If you're interested, you can try it out at www.voicereact.com. There's now over 160 players and 2100 recordings made, and also chances to win monthly prize drawings. Come listen to the 300+ original scenes created so far. Thanks! Foxwolf
Phoenix Wright is a renowned defense attorney famous for turning hopeless cases around and getting his defendant found innocent, as well as finding the real killer. He has handled many cases in his career, losing only once to date. Wright has also been a defendant himself at least three times in his life, each time hiring a different lawyer (including himself). The trial of Zak Gramarye on April 19, 2019 saw Wright unknowingly present forged evidence, before the defendant disappeared, forcing an indefinite postponement of the trial. Wright was subsequently disbarred.
Wright spent the next seven years as a piano player that moonlighted as an undefeated poker player at the Borscht Bowl Club, but secretly continued his investigation of the case that had cost him his attorney's badge. To this end, he was instrumental in re-introducing the Jurist System into California law. After the case was finally resolved, he retook the bar exam and once again became an attorney.
"These, are dark times. Where the law has been reduced to rubble, and it's up to us to restore it to it's former glory.Yeah, I know what you mean. It looks like your target has finally decided to make a move. Don't you worry, I've got a trusty new partner on board."
Simon Blackquill is a prosecutor who stood in court despite serving a murder sentence for the UR-1 Incident. As well as using psychological manipulation techniques to his advantage in court, he also frequently uses his pet hawk Taka to intimidate others. (He's my favorite character!)
English voice actors: Troy Baker/Travis Willingham
Florent L'Belle was the flamboyant and narcissistic personal aide of Damian Tenma, mayor of Tenma Town. L'Belle had his own private line of beauty products called "Je suis L'Belle!", which were for his private use only, despite putting adverts for them on television. The epaulettes on his shoulders were actually cellphones used to answer calls from his business partners.
Apollo Justice is a defense attorney working for the Wright Anything Agency. He is notable for his involvement in a test trial for the Jurist System, an effort to reintegrate the jury into court proceedings, along with co-counsel Trucy Wright, Prosecutor Klavier Gavin, and mentor Phoenix Wright.
Juniper Woods is a childhood friend of Athena Cykes. She is also a third-year student and the student council president at the Themis Legal Academy, where she is studying to be a judge. A somewhat meek and quiet girl, Woods has a habit of going into coughing fits when stressed.
Hugh O’Conner is a cool-headed and snobbish third-year student at Themis Legal Academy, where he is studying to become a defense attorney. Often seen reading through "Zen and the Art of Mastering the Bar Exam", he is considered a genius by many of his fellow students, since he is deemed a perfectionist by his perfect scores. O'Conner is also considered an ace of the school's archery club and normally carries a bow around with him.
He is friendly with judge student Juniper Woods, and there were rumors at the school that he was involved in a love triangle for her affections with hot-headed prosecutor student Robin Newman.
Jinxie Tenma is the superstitious and yokai-obsessed daughter of Damian Tenma - the head of the Tenma family and mayor of Tenma Town. She was working as a maid at Kyubi Manor, home of Nine-Tails Vale's alderman Rex Kyubi, when the latter was murdered. Her father was arrested for the murder, but Jinxie believed the real culprit to be the demon "Tenma Taro". A friend of Trucy Wright, she had originally invited her and Apollo Justice to Nine-Tails Vale for a yokai-based celebration the village was having
Damian Tenma is the mayor of Tenma Town and father to Jinxie Tenma. He is an unpopular figure in Nine-Tails Vale due to his plans to merge the two towns. During a meeting between Nine-Tails Vale alderman Rex Kyubi and himself, the latter was murdered and he was put on trial for the crime.
Robin Newman is a hot-headed and loud third-year student at Themis Legal Academy where she is studying to become a prosecutor. Although born female, she was raised as if she was male by her parents, a fact kept secret from her fellow students, including her friends Juniper Woods and Hugh O’Conner.
Miles Edgeworth is the Los Angeles Chief Prosecutor and a childhood friend of Phoenix Wright. During his first four years as a prosecutor, he had a perfect win record owing to his willingness to do anything to get a guilty verdict for the defendant. This all ended when Wright defeated him in court. Later, Edgeworth found himself on trial for murder, with his "enemy" now being his defense. After prosecuting in one more case, Edgeworth left the prosecutor's office to find out what being a prosecutor really meant, coming to the conclusion that prosecutors were seekers of the truth, and that winning a guilty verdict wasn't all that mattered. He later returned and, by the time of the Mask☆DeMasque trials, had become known as the top prosecutor in America. He also traveled abroad to study international law, prosecuting in five other countries. He was also instrumental in finding the leader of a notorious international smuggling ring and bringing him to court
Gaspen Payne is a prosecutor and the younger brother of the "Rookie Killer" Winston Payne. He is said to be somewhat more villainous than his sibling, as he is not afraid of using dirty tactics in court. He was the prosecutor for the trial of Juniper Woods for the bombing of Courtroom No. 4. Like his brother, Gaspen also has self-styled titles: the "Rookie Humiliator" and the "Defendant Humiliator".
Bobby Fulbright was a hot-blooded detective with the catchphrase "In justice we trust! He had evidently worked with Simon Blackquill many times and was paired up with him in court. The detective hoped to help the prosecutor redeem himself, and he seemed completely oblivious to the latter's attempts to manipulate him.

Originally Audacity saved MP3s worked at the time Casting Call was written. However the software may have changed the way it saves MP3s. In the meantime, please ask fellow members who have success with MP3 uploads how they are saving/encoding their files. Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience.
While a project owner is welcome to have as many active projects running as they wish outside BTVA, the limit is imposed because having too many active projects can be somewhat "unrealistic". We want those who are auditioning to feel that each project is getting the attention and quality it deserves given auditioners themselves are putting in their own time and effort. Once a project owner flags a project as "Completed", they are welcome to create a new project.
The system is built to allow ONE audition per character. This is to avoid having a number of auditions from the same member and making the project owner have to listen to all of them. For now, if you or the project owner wishes you to submit another audition, the project owner will need to "Delete" your audition. The project owner can do this in the "Edit Character/Manage Auditions" link.
As a project owner you will see a "Edit Character/Manage Auditions" link for each character. Clicking it will allow you to Cast, Backup or Pass an audition. Casting a character will prevent new auditions from being submitted for that character.
