I'm planning on doing both the OVA and the whole series! I don't have many plans, so I want to do this over the summer. Mato has already been cast, but I'll need to have an understudy, just in case. Thanks so much! For the sake of simplicity, I'm only going to put up the OVA auditions, but if you don't receive a part, please know that I might have you in mind for the series, so keep your eyes open.

This is what I usually take into consideration:

1. Availability. (pLEASE JUST LIKE. DON'T GO MIA!)
2. Mic Quality (nO RECORDING WITH POTATOES PLEASE)
3. Personality! (no divas!)
4. Tone of voice! (you cAN DO IT!)
5. Emotion (there are no robots in this show im sorry)
6. also please at least watch the ova or episode 1 if you havent seen it because then you'll know how most characters sound.

  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• Why does my MP3 not upload?
We understand that some users are getting errors when uploading MP3 files. Certain encodings will not be compatible with the upload code. Originally Audacity saved MP3s worked at the time Casting Call was written. However the software may have changed the way it saves MP3s. At an unknown future time, the process will change where auditions will be recorded and saved directly on the site. In the meantime, please ask fellow members who have success with MP3 uploads how they are saving/encoding their files. Thanks and apologies for the inconvenience.
• Why is there a limit to 4 active projects per member?
While a project owner is welcome to have as many active projects running as they wish outside BTVA, the limit is imposed because having too many active projects can be somewhat "unrealistic". We want those who are auditioning to feel that each project is getting the attention and quality it deserves given auditioners themselves are putting in their own time and effort. Once a project owner flags a project as "Completed", they are welcome to create a new project.
• Can I audition more than once for a character?
The system is built to allow ONE audition per character. This is to avoid having a number of auditions from the same member and making the project owner have to listen to all of them. For now, if you or the project owner wishes you to submit another audition, the project owner will need to "Delete" your audition. The project owner can do this in the "Edit Character/Manage Auditions" link.
• How do I flag a character as being Cast?
As a project owner you will see a "Edit Character/Manage Auditions" link for each character. Clicking it will allow you to Cast, Backup or Pass an audition. Casting a character will prevent new auditions from being submitted for that character.
• Why do I need a valid email address?
If you audition for a project and are cast in a role, you will notified by email.
• How do I contact members cast for a project?
You can contact members using Private Messaging feature available here in the forums.
