Hello there! I just auditioned for Evie! Sorry for the noise in the background, it's been storming for about 4 days straight and i got a break in the thunder! This looks absolutely adorable! Your art style is fantastic! go to »
Thankfully I found this project before it was to late!! I hope what I gave in examples was good and I also auditioned for Cynthia! This project looks interesting from what I've seen and read so far. Looking forward to see where this goes :) go to »
@Stelog60 thank you. I've been trying to find small, free online courses for voice acting, they have helped a little, I am still a little unsure about myself at times for a character but I usually just try and give it my all on what is written for the character Bio. I am really excited to see the finished product for the character art to! ^_^ go to »
I totally forgot to ask, I am trying to teach myself in this business and I would love some feedback for my auditions. I love the idea of the book. I have to ask, are these stock photos of people or are they photos that were taken for the characters? Sorry for the questions but I'm nerding out XD go to »
Did all the auditions I thought I could do. Plus tried to shred my vocal chords on Majora! Hope you enjoy all of them, and hopefully your ears don't bleed on my Majora Audition, but I had a lot of fun with that one with how I did the audio :) go to »
@TelepathicButterfly hey thank you! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I have been getting ready to go for a 1 day job.
But those compliments mean a lot. I've been trying to coach myself in this, my husband bought me a Mic for a birthday gift and I am so thankful for the quality :D I like the project, the characters sound very interesting ^_^ go to »
Did my auditions for all I think I could do, I am horrible at what I would think is an Arabian accent for the Gerudo but I tried my best for Nabooru. I love the Legend Of Zelda series and I'm so excited for Ganondorf's back story 😃
Feedback is greatly appreciated! go to »
I've tried multiple times to upload my MP3 files and it keeps saying *Your Audition for Kiona was unsuccessfully due to the following, HUZZAH. Please try again* I hope it's OK to send them via email. go to »
@WoodsyStudio I haven't done anything like that. This is mainly a hobby that I'd like to take further. As of right now I can't afford any extra schooling, so I'm trying to basically do self teaching. I'm just really starting off with a good mic so I'm still trying to control my voice and put more emotion behind everything. ^_^ go to »
@StrangeMotions thank you ^_^ I really appriciate it.
I just got a Shure MV5, I'm still getting used to the mechanics of it, I want to get the most potential out of it as I can. I've been watching your videos, nice animation work! go to »
Well did auditions for Alphonse, Winry and Riza Hawkeye. I'd love some feedback, how does my Mic quality sound. I just got a new mic about 2 weeks ago and I'm still learning about it. Also my email is email@example.com ^_^ go to »

alright, got R4V3N's, Kviilynn's voice, and Samantha's voice done (I'm soooo sorry if I offended anyone with that! I literally watched like 4 videos on French Canadian accents about 10 minutes before I recorded that) I wish I would have caught this sooner! This looks like a very interesting project. Can't wait to see the finished product! Any tips or pointers on my performances? Good luck to everyone! go to »
I did my audition for the ghost hand and the Kikwi/Mogma/Parellas, I hope those were decent. I wasn't to sure on how they needed to be voices, when I played the game, I had voices made up in my head for them so I tried to bring those to life, if anyone has any feedback or tips that would be great! go to »
Did my audition for Ichika Takatsuki!! I'm hoping to get a new mic soon so sorry if the auditions are a little muddy! But it sounds like there's some really good talent auditioning so far! If anyone has any feedback or tips I'd love some! ♡ go to »
I finally got my auditions to upload properly, one for Madison's Mother and for the Female Patient having a baby! My mic isn't the best right now but hopefully within the next few weeks I can get me a new one. Once its reviewed and put out to the public I'd love some feedback on them, or some tips! go to »
@ProjectMiles hey thanks! I haven't messed with them that much lol. I'm still super new in the voice acting thing. I'll try to mess with the audio some more, if I can tweak it to sound a bit better I might have them delete the imp midna files so I can try again. Thanks for the feed back :D go to »
It might have been a little much but I have some editing stuff for my voices so I tried out for Imp Midna, True Midna, Eldin and Lanayru and added on the affects. Any feedback for those? I've never used them before XD go to »
I'm debating on weather I want to redo my Ashei audition. I have been practicing working on my voices for a while, but by myself, not even in front of my husband haha, battling a speech impediment. Any tips from more experienced people? go to »
I've done I think all I can do a decent voice for. I want to do their voices justice lol. I hope I don't sound like a fool when it comes to Ashei's voice, I've had an impression of her ever since I've played the games and I did my voice on her in that impression. I'm so excited to see the outcome of this production! go to »
I did one audition so far, for White Angel/Kiva. I hope I did okay :O I wanted to make her sound snarky and have a sharp tone to her. I did have fun doing her voice, I'm normally not a mean person, mwahaha XD go to »
I put my audio in, sorry for the bother, I'm new, but I auditioned and it's only showing my name, it's not showing my files. I hope I did everything right. I'm super excited about this movie! It looks like it's going to be awesome! I haven't been brave enough to upload, but I finally did it XD go to »
@Kayla Ott I definitely responded to the picture question, but I guess it didn't save Q.Q Okay, so the pictures are used for references for my artist. The style for this will be very anime-inspired. I think you all will like it quite a bit. Some have already seen the art, which is why they auditioned lol reply »
Hello, and thank you so much for auditioning!
Firstly, I appreciate the fact that you've done multiple takes, I liked listening to the different interpretations and inflections. You’ve got a lovely, clear, strong voice, and your mic quality is fantastic! I know how difficult it is to perform when you don't have the entire context, but with that being said, I think you did a good job.
I think it shows some character on your part to audition for this role. It is extremely difficult to pin down a child's voice, and I commend you for trying. You gave a very enthusiastic and energized performance, and it was very entertaining to listen to.
It sounds like you had a lot of fun voicing this character, and when you have fun, it really comes out in your performance. I think you've hit all the right emotional notes, and you do a great job at commanding attention.
@Kayla Ott Thanks for the kind words and your audition! To be honest, the emotion in your reading felt a bit flat to me. I'm not sure if you practice any theater, but that could provide some good practice for you. I hope that's helpful! reply »
@Kayla Ott Ah I've not heard of that model before, but it does seem to get the job done :) When I'm new to anything I tend to just look up a tutorial on YouTube, there always something aha. Thanks for checking out the videos i know most them are storyboard related, can't wait until we're working full time in our upgraded 3D software :D reply »
@Kayla Ott Hey Kayla, Thanks so much for auditioning :) really appreciated and glad to hear you think this project sounds interesting. Really liked your audition for Codie and Kayla. You have an awesome voice and nice quality recording so I'm not sure there's much I could tip you on lol. Other than that awesome job and thanks for auditioning! reply »
@Kayla Ott Maybe tone down the echo and reverb a bit! ^-^ I can hear your voice and I feel like with a bit of a pull back you definetly got a shot! Great work with what you've done so far though! reply »
@Kayla Ott I also have a speech impediment, specifically a stutter. I can't help you to get rid of the impediment completely, but I can offer you some tactics for getting around it!
- Breathe deeply, slowly say the first word of the sentence as you exhale. I find that after doing this a few times, I can start the line much easier.
- Make hand gestures as you're speaking. They don't have to be anything specific - just some sort of movement that the mic won't pick up.
- Do some vocal warmups. This is extremely helpful in acting, and I've found that my stutter is less prominent if I've done some warmups. There are plenty of good vocal warmups online, so you should be able to find some that you can use.
As for redoing your audition, that's up to you; if you think you could improve your audition, I'd say go for it.
@Kayla Ott I'm hardly a speech therapist, so I can't advise you much on battling a speech impediment. (Hire an army of ninjas? Don't they solve everything?) The most I can offer is, take it slow and relax; just the act of talking more slowly can help loosen your tongue and enable you to focus better. Beyond that, perhaps other people online can offer solutions to whatever impediment ails you. reply »
