[UPDATE 22/8/2019: We need one more male actor to fill in the role of Jaiden for us. The role isn't very demanding, and all recording can be done fairly quickly. If you have any questions feel free to ask!]

A brand new play is about to open, but as the curtains open for the first time, rising tensions reach boiling point. Can the actors come together to perform a 1920s melodrama? The radio drama will be around 20 minutes and will be part of a brand new anthology series. It will be released on iTunes and various other streaming services. As the series is non-profit, we will not be able to pay any actors, however we will be able to supply actors with resources and the completed works to use in portfolios, and also promote their projects and/or social media projects.

For various complications, we have had to recast several parts, as some actors have dropped out.

Characteristics/Notes:
Peyton is an experienced actress portraying Widow Frailbody in the 1920s melodrama play. Peyton is a wise woman who tries to use sensibility to bring the group together when it becomes unglued. Sara Willoughby (as Nelly Whortleberry)

IMAGE
Name: Sara Willoughby (as Nelly Whortleberry)
Gender: Female
Age: Adult
Characteristics/Notes:
Sara is an actress portraying Nelly Whortleberry in the 1920s melodrama play. Sara is a kind-hearted young woman who is very excited to be part of a broadway cast. She is caring and wants the best for everyone around her. Nelly is not to dissimilar to Sara, as Nelly is caring but ultimately less intelligent to the other characters. As it is a 1920s melodrama, Nelly talks in a very cartoonish fashion compared to Sara, who talks in a more down-to-earth manner.

IMAGE
Name: Jaiden West (as Uriah Creepe)
Gender: Male
Age: Young Adult
Characteristics/Notes:
Jaiden is an actor portraying Uriah Creepe in the 1920s melodrama play. Jaiden is a quiet and reserved person, who rarely lets his true feelings on show. Whilst Jaiden acts very cool, calm, and collected, his character is a henchman for Sir Jasper, and is a cartoonish comic relief character. Whilst Jaiden acts in a grounded way, he plays Uriah in a very over exaggerated depiction.

HELP
  FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
• Why is there a limit to 4 active projects per member?
While a project owner is welcome to have as many active projects running as they wish outside BTVA, the limit is imposed because having too many active projects can be somewhat "unrealistic". We want those who are auditioning to feel that each project is getting the attention and quality it deserves given auditioners themselves are putting in their own time and effort. Once a project owner flags a project as "Completed", they are welcome to create a new project.
• Can I audition more than once for a character?
The system is built to allow ONE audition per character. This is to avoid having a number of auditions from the same member and making the project owner have to listen to all of them. For now, if you or the project owner wishes you to submit another audition, the project owner will need to "Delete" your audition. The project owner can do this in the "Edit Character/Manage Auditions" link.
• How do I flag a character as being Cast?
As a project owner you will see a "Edit Character/Manage Auditions" link for each character. Clicking it will allow you to Cast, Backup or Pass an audition. Casting a character will prevent new auditions from being submitted for that character.
• Why do I need a valid email address?
If you audition for a project and are cast in a role, you will notified by email.
