Characteristics/Notes: From a young age, Reiko grew up learning martial arts from her mother- the famous female wrestler Kamikaze Rose. However, when Reiko was only nine years old, she died in the ring under mysterious circumstances while on tour in America. Five years later, Reiko's older sister Fujiko set out uncover the truth behind their mother's death, only to go missing herself, leaving the then fourteen year old Reiko on her own. Despite this, she spent the next five years building her reputation as a fighter in her own right, while working part time as a "Race Queen" (a Model in car photo-ops). One day, she found an advertisement for the Rumble Roses Championship Tournament and signed up in the hopes of emulating her mother's wrestling achievements and perhaps of finding clues to the whereabouts of her sister. Along the way, she soon made friends with two of her fellow competitors- Dixie Clemets and Makoto Aihara. While Reiko is very energetic and enthusiastic both in and out of the ring, she is also more introspective and less conceited than some of the other wrestlers. In fact, Reiko will often pray to her mother before the start of a match, hoping that she is 'watching'. However this does not make her any less ambitious; her ultimate goal is to follow in her mother's footsteps and become the world's greatest wrestler.

Rowdy Reiko

Name:	Rowdy Reiko

Characteristics/Notes: Rowdy Reiko is the alter-ego of Reiko Hinomoto, after becoming hardened and disillusioned by the disappointments in her career. She discards her old life and creats a new identity for herself after her encounter with a biker gang. Reiko identifies with them, as fellow outcasts from society. Eventually, perhaps by virtue of her considerable fighting prowess, she impresses the bikers so much that they accept her into their gang, making her their new leader. Rowdy Reiko, leading the "Road Warriors"! Rowdy Reiko, as she has rechristened herself, completely disowns her past as Reiko Hinomoto, and assumes the monicker of "Queen Cobra". As leader of the Cobra Gang, she fights as a Heel wrestler and street fighter. She readily uses underhanded moves and dirty tricks once unheard of from the old Reiko, even resorting to using weapons. Rowdy's character is almost the polar opposite to Reiko's. Rowdy is aggressive and abusive, inclined to threaten and insult her opponents, such as "I'll take you down any place, any time.' She behaves like a typical gang leader in trying to intimidate everyone she meets.

Dixie Clemets

Characteristics/Notes: As the daughter of a prominent Texas rancher, Dixie grew up helping out at the family ranch- easily holding her own with her male counterparts in the rough and tumble Texas landscape. Her in-wring costume even has her family's branding emblem on it. She began competing in rodeo contests at the age of twelve and would go on and continue be a regular winner in the event ever since then. She also spends a lot of time helping out at the local Sheriff's office (the badge on her outfit is likely a reference to this). Acording to her biography in the first game manual, Dixie has also been ranked as the No 1 Most Eligible Bachelorette in Texas (sometime prior to the start of the first game). She also makes appearances on local television and radio shows in her free time. Dixie Clemets is very much the embodiment of an archetypal lady from Texas- she's boisterous, energetic, hardworking, confident and sociable. She even speaks with a pronounced 'Texas' accent. She is well known for her showboating, always eager to show off her figure and skills both in and out of the ring. While Dixie is used to being the center of attention, she's still able to quickly make friends with ease- thanks in no small part to her outgoing and cheerful nature. She quickly takes a liking to Reiko, recognizing the girl's potential, and sets about helping her to realize it- always encouraging her to strive for more. Dixie seems to be skilled at judging situations, as she knows how far to push Reiko to help her improve. She also able to take Aisha's issues with her with a grain of salt.

Characteristics/Notes: Over time, Dixie lost popularity with the crowd due to committing too many fouls during her matches. Having become fed up with the apparent hypocracy of the crowd (happy to cheer her on at first, but later turning on her when she faltered), Dixie became "Sgt. Clemets". Clemets is not a woman to be crossed, as she's more than willing to imploy a harsh form of vigilante-style justice (in the vein of Dirty Harry) to reign in her opponents. Regardless of how others might see her, she sees herself as the law, and has no problem with busting some heads to get things done. Having become a "Renegade Cop", Sgt. Clemets answers to no one but herself. On the outside, it might appear as if this is just Dixie Clemets wearing a costume... However, Sgt. Clemets can still clearly be viewed as a badgirl in the games. Clemets portays herself as a crooked cop, though in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek manner. Many of her remarks and actions imply that she seems to be having fun with this new persona, unlike many of the other Heels (such as Sista A or Black Belt Demon) who take their badgirl persona very seriously. And for all her threats of violence, (whether intentional or not) there's an undercurrent of humor in much of her performance. She rides into the ring on a motercycle during her intro, struts around in a skimpy black outfit, and is flanked by attractive female followers (also dressed up in cop-like attire).

Characteristics/Notes: Aisha was born in Atlanta Georgia, though she moved to San Antonio Texas during her teens (between the age of 12-14, based on Dixie's established timeline) when her father got transferred there. She attended the same high school as Dixie Clemets (who was 2 years older than her) and the two soon became 'rivals'. As time went on, Aisha's gifted singing voice and good looks helped launch a highly successful (and lucrative) career as a singer and performer. She would go on to win numerous Grammy Awards, helping her to become the top Diva and superstar of the music industry. Yet despite all her fame and fortune, Aisha could never forget her old high school rivalry with Dixie... So when she learned that her rival had entered the Rumble Roses Championship Tournament, Aisha promptly entered as well. Confident of her skills, Aisha intended nothing less than defeating Dixie in the ring- so that everyone would know that she was the best. Aisha is very energetic, as well as competitive and ambitious by nature - as showcased by ongoing efforts to overtake Dixie Clemets. She enjoys being in the spotlight and uses the Rumble Roses Tournament as a chance to showcase her singing and dancing skills. Many of her actions can be viewed as egotistical, as it can be argued that her true motive for fighting in the tournament was to simply prove (mainly to herself) that she was better than Dixie... Rather than as a means of furthering her career and becoming an even bigger star than she already is.

Sista A / Showbiz

Characteristics/Notes: Sista A (also known as "Showbiz") is the Heel persona of Aisha. In the continuity of the first game, Aisha's record sales severely plummeted following her loss in the Rumble Roses Tournament... This, in turn, ultimately led to the eventual demise of her career in the entertainment industry, as well as an inabillity to even make money. Yet despite having suffering all of these hardships, Aisha still held onto her life-long desire to be able to dance on stage. And so, Aisha was no more... And in her place, the villainous and sensual dancer known as "Sista A" emerged to fight in the tournament. While being visible in both games, the presence of the Demonic Tattoo on her body is much more significant in the first game. It seems (at least in Benikage's storyline) that Anesthesia 'altered' her to cause the drastic change in her. For the sequel however, Sista A is presented as being just the alter-ego of Aisha, with the tattoo essentially being made incidental. Sista A is essentially what Aisha would become if stripped of her inhibitions and lacking humility or any concept of right or wrong. She is now driven solely by her own selfish desires and ambitions, and thinks nothing of those around her- save for how she can use them to further her own ends. Her rampant narcissism and ego is most clearly reflected in her highly sexualized appearance and antics- both in and out of the wring. She also doesn't seem to care what others think of her, as she basically dresses and acts as if she were an exotic dancer. Sista A's shameless nature is shown during her extremely sexually-charged intro that plays as she approaches the wring. And again, when she enters the wring to dance on a pole!

Benikage / Bloody Shadow

Name:	Benikage / Bloody Shadow
Gender:	Female
Age:	Adult
Characteristics/Notes: A mysterious woman with no name or past... Benikage (aka "Bloody Shadow") is an agent of the "Otugumi", a modern day Ninja Unit that trained her in the arts of Ninjitsu. She was sent by the Japanese Government to investigate the activities of the Rumble Roses Organization (while posing as a competitor in the Rose Tournament). Her ultimate goal is to uncover what is really going on behind the scenes... Benikage seems to be an extremely serious, taking a simple, no-nonsense approach to everything she does, even when fighting in the ring. Her primary motivation is always the furtherance of her 'mission' to uncover the secret of Rumble Roses. Because of this dedication to the Ninja path, she shows little interest (or understanding) in anything or anyone that isn't critical to the success of her mission. She prefers to avoid unnecessary interactions where possible. And when interviewed, she evades most of the questions by replying with cryptic remarks. She never speaks during her introductions, even going so far as to silently 'kill' the enemy ninjas during her Tag Match intro. She shows almost no emotion when fighting or even winning. As a result, she often appears cold and aloof. There are, however, some signs that she may wish for company, but is constrained by her training. When Noble Rose sugests joining forces against Anesthesia, she seems tempted for a moment, but eventually rejects the offer- saying "I work alone." In sharp contrast to this, she reacts with blatant anger and contempt when dealing with Anesthesia. Benikage is clearly offended by the twisted woman's very presence and will fly into a rage at just the sight of her. While normally a woman of few words, she openly threatens Anesthesia/Dr Cutter regardless. (Yasha will behave in exactly the same towards them, given that her artler-ego shares the same desire to fight evil).

Yasha / Judgment

Name:	Yasha / Judgment
Gender:	Female
Age:	Adult
Characteristics/Notes: Originally called "Judgement" in the first game, Yasha is the Babyface alter-ego of Benikage. Though given the fact that the female ninja is a Heel in name only, it would be more accurate to think of Yasha as the 'true' version of Benikage- the person she really is deep down once free of her former masters. Yasha's behaves and carries herself like some kind of supernatural entity (as evidenced in how she dresses and acts). It's as if the implication is that she's the 'reincarnation' of Benikage, returning from the land of the dead as an avenging immortal spirit. In fact, the name Yasha (a Japenese term) can be translated to "Female Demon" in English. It should be noted that the word "demon" does not carry the negative connotations in Japanese mythology as it does in many western cultures and mythology. It is simply one of countless names used for a variety of Japanese spirits, ranging from the harmless to the evil and malevolent. Yasha appears to be the polar opposite of Benikage in many ways. She's considerably more straightforward and assertive, and doesn't shy away from the camera in her Queen's Match entrances. But there are clues that some insecurities remain in the way that she hesitates wistfully. Instead of hiding her agenda as previously, Yasha is quite open about her intentions. In the first game, when asked who she would most like to meet, she replies "Dr. Cutter, for I shall have her head!" It's also clear that she still harbors great animosity for the twisted Nurse, as she instantly becomes enraged at the sight of either of the woman's incarnations. And her story mode ends with her declaring that she will bring her to justice!

Aigle

Name:	Aigle

Characteristics/Notes: Aigle is a member of a nomadic tribe living in the sprawling planes of modern day Mongolia, a land-locked country surrounded on all sides by Russia and China. The once dominant Asian culture suffered in the shadow of Imperial China (and later Soviet China) between the late 1700s till the fall of the USSR at the end of the 1980s. Despite all this, Aigle enjoyed a normal, happy life in the isolated plains of Mongolia. Like her father and brother, Aigle is the latest descendant in long-running family tradition of Mongolian Wrestling, with both her father and brother being masters. As such, she is a master practitioner of the traditional Mongolian Wrestling known as B�kh (meaning "durability"). B�kh is somewhat similar to Japanese Sumo, in that it utilized ones upper body strength and endurance. The first game's manual refers to her fighting style as "Mongolian Sumo", but this is likely just a mistake. Another point worth noting is that traditional Mongolian Wrestling is highly patriarchal... to the point that steps have been taken to keep women from ever participating in it. So this makes the fact that Aigle was trained for this, even more extrordinary. Because of her rural upbringing and nomadic lifestyle, Aigle is unaware much of the world beyond her family and the small close-knit community that she grew up in on the planes of Mongolia. Aigle is an active member of her community and in very much in touch with her people's culture- as she is seen tending to the heards of sheep, or playing a Morin Khuur (a traditional stringed instrument) in her free time. The effects of this upbringing are made instantly clear once she arrives in America to take part in the Rumble Roses Tournament... With Aigle being shocked by all the strange new people and culture now around her.

Great Khan / Killer Khan

Characteristics/Notes: Great Khan is the heel persona of Aigle. Having abandoned the warrior's path due to committing too many fouls, she now aims to conquer the ring. When she gains enough popularity, she can use her Superstar costume, which is similar to that of Aigle, but with a wolf motif, as opposed to a sheep. Great Khan is shown to be more aggressive than her Babyface persona Aigle. In the first game, this is noted first in Makoto's story when Makoto refuses to let Anesthesia experiment on her. Great Khan claims that she hates Makoto and fights with her. In her interview, when asked her measurements, she threatens to kill the reporter by cutting off his head and when asked her goals, she responds with "Conquer World." Makoto Aihara

Name:	Makoto Aihara
Gender:	Female
Age:	Teenager
Characteristics/Notes: A young and highly respected Judo prodigy from Japan, Makoto excelled in the form since she was a child. She is a blackbelt (or "First Dan" rank), as evident by her belt. Makoto is even referenced as being the �current Gold Medalist in the 50kg class.� This is likely in reference to the 2004 Olympics- making her the Women's (48-52kg) Champion. Despite all of her accomplishments, Makoto enters the Rumble Roses Tournament in order to 'avenge' herself against a girl (Aigle) who defeated her in the past. Learning that Aigle had entered the tournament was reason enough for her- the young champion desired only to be able to finally confront and defeat her mysterious adversary. Makoto is a young, energetic, and cheerful girl. She's eager to prove herself and her skills to the world by winning the Rumble Roses Tournament. With most of her time spent in Judo dojo, she is somewhat naive about some things. Despite her young age, she's very much aware of her responsibilities as an athlete and 'celebrity'. Makoto is outgoing and friendly with others, and quickly forms close friendships with Reiko Hinomoto and Aigle, forming a successful and formidable partnership with the latter. As one of the youngest contenders (and one of the smallest), Makoto possesses a youthful personality and looks. As such, her femininity is much more downplayed than many of her competitors. She seems content to portray herself as "cute" rather than sexy. Ironically, a lot of production artwork and promotional images (from the first game) depict her with a slightly more grownup look to her- as well as hinting at a more developed figure than she has in the games.

Black Belt Demon

Name:	Black Belt Demon
Gender:	Female
Age:	Teenager
Characteristics/Notes: The Black Belt Demon is one of the characters whose origin can vary somewhat, depending on how you interpret events or which game you're playing. Though the common thread throughout all of them is that she is always the villainous Heel persona of Makoto Aihara. Based on the character's story mode in the first game, the Black Belt Demon persona emerges as a result of Makoto having lost the tournament as a result of committing too many fouls. She begins to feel that the fans are only interested in her when she's winning- "As long as I win, nothing else matters." Tired of this perceived double standard, she becomes the Black Belt Demon- a twisted version of her former self. As she's about to debut, she gleefully declares "My fans are going to be VERY surprised with the new me!" The Black Belt Demon is essentially a dark, twisted, and uninhibited version of Makoto. She's aggressive, violent, and obsessed with winning at any cost. In the first game, during Aigle's story, Anesthesia claims that the Black Belt Demon is Makoto- just without morals or ethics to guide her. The Black Belt Demon seems eager to sever any links to her old self (including her friendships with Aigle and Reiko). She's also unable to move on from her loss against Reiko, and her obsession with beating her has caused "Makoto" to become extremely hostile towards her. When Reiko questions her about the change, she replies "I thought I'd go for the sexy look. Something nice for your funeral." Her dark obsession with Reiko nearly cost the Zero Fighter her life, putting her in hospital after and extended bearhug that she refused to release. However, unlike other Heels, she often becomes defensive when others dispute her, even becoming violent at times. Despite her actions, it's possible that she may in fact harbor some doubts about her new persona- having to constantly reinforce her new way of life by talking about how twisted and dark she now is. Before the start of her match with Reiko, she seems desperate to convince the other woman that she's "bad". And when Reiko disputes her, she tries to hit her. Her final words in the first game is a summation of her mantra- that "Judo is a bitter road."

Candy Cane

Name:	Candy Cane
Gender:	Female
Age:	Teenager
Characteristics/Notes: At first glance, Candy Cane (real name Becky Welsh) appears as little more than the epitome of the "bad girl" stereotype. To her fellow students and the staff, she's the archetypal delinquent (defiant, with a bad attitude) and a social outsider, as well as being a 'punk'. This image is furthered by the fact that she's also the lead singer in an all-girl punk rock band called "The Killer Bambies." Her trouble-making and rowdy antics in school have resulted in her being viewed a bad element, to the point where many would regard her as a lost cause. In spite of all this, there is still someone who believes in her... Her teacher, Miss Muriel Spencer, is her lone supporter, continuing to show genuine concern for her throughout. Though for her part, Candy often seems put off by Spencer's efforts, seeming to view her as a nag and a busybody. Rather than confronting the various issues in her life, she becomes defensive when Spencer broches the topic. Candy Cane is loud-mouthed, rude, and confrontational. She has a chip on her shoulder when it comes to her singing, and as such does not like working with or even being around other performers, notably Aisha. However her attitude to the other wrestlers may not always be as hostile as it appears on the surface. She seems to have a guarded admiration for Dixie Clemets (or at least her 'rack'!) even while antagonising her. At first she's unable to understand Makoto's honourable way of fighting but eventually appears to warm to her. After Makoto says "Hope you don't mind a crazy friend?" she responds "No problem there!" When performing, she tends to make gestures to the crowd and jumps around while playing the guitar. She's worked hard to cultivate her bad girl persona (as well as to establish her position as a Heel, even going to far as to enter the ring brandishing her guitar as a weapon. And as a Heel, she won't hesitate to try and bash her opponents over the head with the guitar if she isn't disarmed promptly. Perhaps due to being an orphan and growing up spending most of her life as a loner, Candy seems eager to have the audience's attention. She will often try to hog the spotlight, making a scene or causing a disturbance. An example of this is when she starts throwing around equipment and smashing her guitar while performing with her band before she enters the ring to start her match. Despite her secret altruistic motives for fighting, Candy does not break character and maintains a rude and aloof attitude towards everyone.

Becky Welsh

Characteristics/Notes: Rebecka Welsh is the Babyface alter-ego of Candy Cane. More specifically, Becky could be viewed as an extremely idealized version of the girl. She's happy, bursting with enthusiasm, as well as being academically successful and popular in school. Put another way: Becky is what Candy Cane could be with a nurturing environment and the support of the people around her (such as Miss Spencer). Becky credits her Face-turn to Miss Spencer, who convinced her to return to school. Given how happy and successful she now is, it's likely that he transformation happened after winning the Tournament. She explains that she's now "busy with studying and wrestling." She also joined the school's Cheerleading Squad, apparently taking it to heart and basing her new wrestling persona around it. She continues to wrestle, and enjoys in-ring friendships with both Miss Spencer and Yasha. In contrast with her alter-ego, Becky is cheerful, perky, and outgoing. She has fully embraced her new Babyface persona- eager to make friends and prove herself to others. Her dramatic transformation has given her strong sense of right and wrong, and allowed her to ally herself with the similar-minded Yasha. Becky has come to admire Miss Spencer, remarking in the first game (during the interview) that Spencer is the person she most wants to spend time with. She's also very happy now in school: "...I'm really into it, busy with studying and wrestling. I'm in the prime of my youth!" She even joined the school's cheerleading squad, explaining to the interviewer "I joined the cheerleading squad. This outfit is ridiculous, but I suppose it is what it is! I've turned over a new leaf! ...I'm going to make these the best times of my life!"

Miss Spencer

Characteristics/Notes: Miss Spencer is a history teacher who's come to the Rumble Roses tournament in order to find her wayward pupil Rebecca Welsh (aka Candy Cane) and make her return to school. Miss Spencer was captain of her wrestling team when she was at school, so she's well-equipped to enter the ring if necessary- either to help her erring pupil or to exert a little discipline on the other contestants. Despite her rather prim and proper attitude, displays of what she considers 'unruly' behavior can rouse her to take strong action against what she see's as 'naughty' miscreants. As a teacher, Spencer could be viewed as "old-fashioned", due to her strong belief in discipline, as well the importance of good behavior and the value of studying. However, she's not nearly as stiff and straight-laced as some might see her (specifically Candy Cane). In fact, she has a number of hobbies- including writing poetry. She also seems to know how to play the guitar... During her and Candy Cane's tag-team intro, she surprises Candy by replacing one of the guitarists (without her having realized it). Spencer appears to be one of the few contestants in the tournament with no self-serving ambitions. Her sole motive for entering is to find Candy Cane (who she calls "Miss Welsh"). She's essentially a kind and caring person, and refuses to simply dismiss "Rebecca" as a hopeless case. Instead, she sees her as a sort of 'rough diamond', believing that she has the potential to be a good student and that she can achieve this with her guidance. While her reasons for caring so much are a matter for speculation , she has gone to great lengths in an effort to put her on 'the right path'. She's also protective of Candy, becoming upset when she climbs onto ring post (after they've won a tag match), since her underwear is revealed to the audience in the process. Spencer may also be somewhat self-conscious about being older than most of the other competitors in the tournament (in some cases, as much as a decade). This may be suggested by her stated weight of 106 lbs being highly improbable - given both her body type and that Candy Cane's stated weight is 119 lbs!

The Mistress

Characteristics/Notes: This new persona emerged as Miss Spencer grew to enjoy the sight of fear in her opponents as she inflicted in pain upon them in the wring. With this sudden realization, The Mistress emerged- a hedonist and sadist, bent on inflicting pain on others for her own amusement. Now dressed as a Dominatrix, The Mistress intends to make the other fighters submit to her! Even when Becky tries to reason with her and reminds her that she was the one who helped her, The Mistress replies "...I like this new lifestyle." She then threatens Becky, saying "I must oversee your discipline." Becky runs away, seeming cutting all ties with her former Teacher... The Mistress is very much a stereotypical Dominatrix in every sense of the term. Her appearance is both highly-sexualized and menacing, she carries around a Riding Crop, is followed around by a mute slave/manservant (Sebastian), and makes a point of beating him whenever the mood strikes her. Despite the nature of her character, she actually presents herself in a fairly over the top and even cartoonish manner. Wither this is intentional or not is unknown. Regardless, she seems to take the persona seriously. During her interview, she says that her favorite words are "Domination and submission". She then goes on to say she enjoys "Making smart-mouthed girls kneel down before (her)." Unlike the almost paternal concern that Miss Spencer had for Becky Welsh/Candy Cane, The Mistress clearly seems to harbor far more sinister intentions for the girl (regardless of her moral alignment). Later in the interview, when asked about who she would most like to meet, The Mistress ominously replies: "Ms. Welsh. She deserves a good whipping."[4] She even seems to enjoy the fact that Becky now seems to be scared of/disgusted with her. In the second game, she ends up getting along very well with Sista A. The hedonistic lifestyles of the two women are so in sync that they end up forming their own Tag Team.

Anesthesia

Characteristics/Notes: In the first game, Anesthesia is introduced as the "personal assistant" to the current champion Lady X. In reality, she is the mastermind who created Lady X. Additionally, she's responsible for 'transforming' Fujiko Hinomoto into Evil Rose. She is effectively the main villain of the first game. She's also believed to be responsible for many of the "Heel-Turns" in the various primary characters' story modes in the first game. Benikage observes that the altered fighters now sport a black Demonic Tattoo on them - likely means of denoting them as having been experimented on. A "Babyface" in name only... Anesthesia a cruel and sinister woman, emotionally detached from the the immorality of her research. She shows a callous disregard for others, viewing the other contestants as little more than potential future specimens for her work. During the first tournament, she expresses interest in Reiko, believing that she caries the same strong genes as her mother and sister. She thinks nothing of pitting Reiko against her own sister. When confronted, she refers to Lady X as a weapon and Evil Rose as her pet... Despite passing herself off as a nurse, it is strongly implied that she is a skilled surgeon. Her true training likely lies in cybernetics- as she created a human cyborg from the DNA (and remains?) of Kamikaze Rose. The 'creation' of Evil Rose, as well as the Heel versions of the various others, also implies that she also has experience in gene manipulation and behavioral conditioning.

Dr. Cutter / Dr. Anesthesia

Name:	Dr. Cutter / Dr. Anesthesia

Characteristics/Notes: Dr. Cutter (or Dr. Anesthesia, as she's known in the second game) is the "alter-ego" of Anesthesia. However, given the nurse's already sinister nature, as well as all the schemes and plots she's been a party to, it would be more accurate to say that the Dr. Cutter persona is Anesthesia's 'true self'. As with her alter-ego, very little is known about her. Unlike other face/heel turns, Cutter's agenda does not change - she continues her work for "The Corporation". She only differs from Anesthesia in that she no longer makes any attempt to conceal the true evil of her nature from others. Dr. Cutter is very much the archetypical Mad Scientist in every sense of the word. And her actions in the games only further display her utter madness and evil nature. She captures and experiments on live human subjects, and seems to take great delight in what she does- even her "Face" persona openly admitted to this. Still, it's clear that her grip on reality is tenuous. When she reaches Super Star Status, Cutter portrays herself as an alien! She's particularly interested in the genetics of the members of the Hinomoto family- having already experimented on Reiko's mother, the Kamikaze Rose, and her sister Fujiko. However she seems to begrudge Reiko, as the young woman has consistently evaded her clutches. Cutter appears to have plans to turn the other contestants into Heels, all under her control. In the first game, the Demonic Tattoo seen on the Heel fighters is also a way of signifying outright (or implying) her control over them. The only people she never gains control of are Benikage and Candy Cane, both are never seen with the mark on them.

Evil Rose

Characteristics/Notes: Evil Rose is a mysterious fighter whose true role in the Rumble Roses Tournament is unclear. Her connections to both Anesthesia and the Rumble Rose Organization are also shrowded in mystery. She's a ruthless fighter that seems to be at the beckon-call of Anesthesia most of the time. Though as the tournament progresses, the Nurse's hold over her seems to waver. Especially as Reiko Hinomoto gets closer to the the Champion's title and the truth behind what is going on. Subjected to extensive mental and physical reconditioning, Evil Rose displays obvious signs of emotional and psychological dysfunction in her speech and behavior. The changes affected upon her by Anesthesia has given her super-human strength and agility, but at the cost of leaving her as more animal than human. In addition to everything else that has been done to her, she also appears to have been conditioned to follow orders, as Anesthesia regularly refers to her as her "pet" and is quick to give her orders. Rose is cold and distant, with seemingly little awareness of herself as a person. She almost never speaks, instead either yelling or growling in battle. It's clear that she is an unwilling participant in the tournament, fighting simply because she is told to. Treated like a wild animal (bound with chains and held in cages), she carries herself as such- in her movements and attacks. Her body language is geared towards defense (from possible danger) and quick motion. Most of the time, the only indication that she she possesses human qualities is her penchant towards sadism and violence in the wring.

Noble Rose / Fujiko Hinomoto

Name:	Noble Rose / Fujiko Hinomoto
Gender:	Female
Age:	Adult
Characteristics/Notes: In the first game, Noble Rose's arrival is foreshadowed in not just Evil Rose's epilogue, but also in Anesthesia's epilogue as well. Unlike most of the other fighters, her eventual change is depicted as less of a "turn" and more a continuation of Fujiko Hinomoto story-arc. When Evil Rose has won the tournament at the end of her storyline, she discards her mask- a symbolic gesture showing that she is no longer under the control of the Corperation. When Anesthesia wins the tournament in her storyline, the twisted woman's victory is quickly cut short when a mysterious voice (presumed to be Rose) leaves the nurse with a warning and a promice of retribution... However, as the sequel is partially a reboot of the series, the Evil Rose persona is once again present. And the lack of real storylines in the game removes much of the complexity associated with the character in the original game. This time, Reiko is very much aware that the masked fighter is her sister. It's ultimately Reiko's intervention (instead of a conscious desision on Rose's part) that finally released Fujiko from the control of Anesthesia and 'the Corperation', and her eventual transformation... After spending years as Anesthesia's puppet, the woman once known as Fujiko Hinomoto is finally able to break free from her control... Thanks in no small part to the arrival and intervention of her younger sister, Reiko, during the Roses Tournament. For various reason, Noble Rose is quick to dispute any connection to her former self (including her relationship to Reiko)- going so far as to say that she (as Evil Rose) had "killed" Fujiko Hinomoto. In truth, it's more likely that she has chosen to distance herself from Reiko in an effort to keep her out of danger- fearing that she might fall into the hands of her enemies. This concern stems from the fact that Anesthesia more than likeely was/is targetting Reiko (observing her during her various matches) to use her a test subject. This threat to her younger sibling proved to be a strong enough motivation for Fujiko/Evil Rose that she was able to start resisting her conditioning (on multiple occasions)- intervening in matches to prevent the nurse from capturing her sister. Realizing the extent of the danger involved, Noble Rose seems to have resigned herself to the possibility of dieing for her cause (ie. taking down Dr. Cutter and her corporate masters at all cost). However, she is not willing to risk her sister's life to achieve theis. And so she remains adamant that Reiko return to Japan in order to carry on the teachings and traditions passed down to the two of them by their mother, the late Kamikaze Rose. However, by the second game, she seems to have come to terms with Reiko's decision to remain in America and continue fighting in the Rumble Roses tournament. Later on, she even forms a Tag-Team with her called "The Kamikaze Typhoon" to compete for the Champions' Title in newly formed Tag-Team Division. Regardless of her origins, Noble Rose emerges as a force for justice- not unlike a "Super Hero". She is intent on bringing down both Dr. Cutter and the Organization that wronged her and so many others. Because of this, her strong moral alignments leads her to attempt to enlist the help Yasha- another former victim and pawn of of their mutual enemies. Her morality is reflected in her personality as well. In her interview, she says her favorite words are "Justice. Love. And divine retribution." Rose also makes numerous references to Cutter, even citing her as the person that she'd "most like to meet" and declaring she will "pursue her to the ends of the Earth."
