Default "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" (2014)

The first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been released.

Looks great, defiantly my most anticipated movie of 2014.

I really liked the first one, and this one looks like it'll be loads of fun too. I'm there.

Saw the trailer yesterday, really does look good. Bit nerves that it has three villains.
Really like how Jamie seems as Electro, I thought since he was so likable he wouldn't work as a punk like Electro but he seems really badass.
I don't know who knows this but Paul said on Conan he always wanted to be te Rhino so it's cool they got him as Rhino.

Hmph. Cool trailer, but my anticipation for the movie itself is a bit mixed. Fitting Electro, Rhino and Goblin into one movie? Seems like too much story to fit/cram into one movie.

Electro looks cool, as does Rhino, though putting O'Hirn in a mech suit is weird. Gobby (it looks like it's Harry, not Norman), while it looks better than the abomination in the first Raimi movie, doesn't look that great.

Love, love, LOVE the new Spidey outfit.

Nice cameo of Vulture's flight-pack and Doctor Octopus' arms.

And I REALLY hope they don't kill Gwen in this one. Still too soon, IMO. Save it for the next movie or the movie after (whichever one with Norman Osborn as the main villain).

We'll see. I loved the first one, hope Webb doesn't screw this one up.

It looks like this movie might have a bit too much going on, but if this movie provides solid character development and excitement then I will be satisfied, but I'm going to try and go into this one with restrained expectations just in case. However, I also LOVE the new Spidey costume. I love how colorful and wide-eyed it is. I think it has more personality to it than the first ASM or the Raimi movies' costume. Both Electro and Goblin look a little off to me. Goblin in particular from what I saw of him in a close up of the poster... *pukes*

In some aesthetic areas it doesn't do much for me, but I have overall high hopes for this movie.

Why is it weird, if I may ask? Not a fan of the Mecha-Rhino concept?

Totally agreed. The brief glimpses of that stuff prepping for the S6, it's like full-on fanwank!

Just different from the norm. But we'll see.

Well, Mecha-Rhino is essentially what happens when you actually try to make that character semi-realistic. Juiced-up thug in a skin-tight rhino leotard? Or a thug in a massive military armored suit that happens to resemble a rhino? I'll take a Mecha-Rhino over a giant rubber Rhino suit any day of the week. (at least in the live-action form, anyway)

To be honest... I don't mind Goblin's costume in Spider-Man '02... *runs to bomb-shelter and locks the door*
