Inquiry about my Grace M101 Preamp

Greetings and salutations to all,

I've been trying to get back into the voice acting world and also have everything I need. However, there is one area where I wanted to get more professional insight on.

Do I need an audio interface for my Grace M101 preamp to connect to my laptop, or would a simple XLR to USB cable do the trick without ruining the quality?

If it is the former, would anyone happen to have any recommendations that would complement my preamp and not dampen its quality from $500 and under?

If it's the latter, any XLR to USB cable that's highly praised or would any traditional one do?
