Didn't see one of these anywhere, so here's a general Fire Emblem dream cast thread. I'm making it to post my Fates cast.

Awakening was recorded at Cup of Tea, so I'll use two recent CoT projects (Xenoblade Chronicles X and Tales of Zestiria) to help make the cast (but I'll throw a few others not from those projects into the mix as well)

Eh, not heroic-sounding enough. His voice on its own would be alright (Spike Spencer could fit too), however I feel he generally hasn't shown a stoic but friendly character so far.

I was thinking the same thing for Scott Porter or RCS as Marth. That said, I think Jun sounds a bit deeper than JYB to my ears. Anyway it's splitting hairs & not really the ideal way of casting.

In general however I really feel a British cast would be better for a game like Fire Emblem. Kinda sad we can only get Japanese cast+US dub; for a game like this (as well as stuff like Berserk), it would be preferable to have something like Demon's/Dark Souls which is natively in English despite being Japanese-produced. If all were right with the world, Berserk (which DS is heavily based on) would be in British English as well.

...When I get to play more FE stuff I think I'll do a proper British cast for it.

I have a feeling you havent played the game/dont know these characters, & are using sound-alikes to the dub (good dub, but still). It's worth renting or borrowing the games from the library or possibly YT videos if you just want the story I guess to understand the characters.

Personally based on the little I've played of Awakening (which, btw, is the *thirteenth* game, & the third even for the voiced games), I'd use Andre Sogluzzio (with fake British accent) for Frederick, someone like Matt McKenzie for Chrom, & probably Troy for Lon'qu just based on design & JP soundclip.

I'll give you Rachel Kimsey as Lucina though; that's a really cool choice although ironically she's done more dubbing work than original animation. Some British VAs that pop up in my head are probably Camilla Luddington or Olivia D'Abo; probably the former for Robin & the latter for Lucina. But I havent gotten very far in this game so I wont comment on the others.
