Tara mentioned that female MLP fans are also referred to as bronies.

Yeah but I've heard the term Pegisister floating around as well, but saying brony is much easier. Ah well, the only exposure I have to that show is the constant references on the internet.

Just watched the premiere. Pretty much what I expected. Nothing impressive, but nothing repulsive, either. I did laugh out loud at a couple of bits.

This show to me is basically Regular Show or Adventure Time with the Teen Titans cast. pete also made a good comparison with The Looney Tunes Show. I personally think TTG and TLTS should switch formats. LTS can be funny, but the 21 minute episodes really drag everything too long. They should switch to two 11 minute segments. But I think the 11 minute format is really rushing TTG. Unlike TLTS, I think TTG can pull off 21 minutes without dragging into nothingness.

I hated this new episode more than the first one.

First segment of today's episode was the funniest yet
Second segment wasn't as strong, but eh, tough act to follow.

This is obviously going to be one of those well-divided shows.I decided to listen without watching to keep the animation from being distracting (and then went back and watched) and I barely laughed at all.

Funny enough, I had similar feelings on the episode. xD.

"Driver's Ed" was better to me than "Dog Hand" too.

I did lol at the buff Robin, though, in the latter episode.

I think I'm enjoying this series just fine, and this new episode I found stronger than the first. I loved all the DC references (The Batmobile, Superman smoothie bar, Jonah Hex casino, Darkseid plush toy, even a sign with Young Justice Aqualad as a DJ. Is that a little racist?).

Trigon returning was a plus too, complete with KMR reprising the role.

I'll admit, the show is growing on me. This was a funny episode. I liked the first segment and Robin's behavior. Nothing like the stoic, serious character in the original series. The second segment was pretty good too. Liked how Trigon was in this series. Instead of the demonic, powerful being in the original series and comics, that's all downplayed to him being a stereotypicall suburban father who's concerned that his daughter isn't following in his footsteps. I like it. It does raise a question though: how will this show handle Slade (and you know he's gonna appear at one point in this show)?
