Vancouver(Ocean/Westwood etc):

Tien Shinhan/Tenshinhan: Vincent Tong (using a deeper pitch such as his Junjie voice or Brax. (This casting would have only been possible for DBZ Kai)
Krillin: Sam Vincent

Lord Slug: Gary Chalk
Cooler: Christopher Judge
Android 13: Michael Donovan (transformed state)
Paragus: Ron Halder
Bojack: Mark Acheson

Bardock: Mark Hildreth - Something along the lines of Heero Yuy but played with more passion and energy (only possible if dubbed in the early 2000s, since he's in L.A. now) or Paul Dobson as an alternative.
Toma: Jim Byrnes
Selypa: Kathleen Barr
Totepo: Richard Newman
Pambukin: Terry Klassen

King Piccolo/Daimaō: Scott McNeil

L.A.(Studiopolis/Bang Zoom!/Animaze etc):
Goku: Joshua Seth (Possibly an alternate late 90s/early 00s casting)
Not that I don't like the idea of Vincent Tong as Tenshinhan, I should mention that Brendan Hunter was brought back for Ocean Kai.

Oh, I'm aware of that. I only mentioned Kai to give an indication that he likely wouldn't have been available to be cast in the Z era as it appears he didn't start voice acting professionally until the mid-2000s. Honestly, it's a shame he couldn't have been cast in Ocean's Kai dub when they had the chance, I think he would have been much better suited to the role than either Matt Smith or Brendan Hunter (both of whom I enjoyed, but left a lot to be desired).

Thanks. Unfortunately, I still can't think of a good pick for Broly.

How about Michael Dobson? I watched Silverwing a few years back and while his Goth voice doesn't really sound much like him, his grunts and screams reminded me EXACTLY of Vic Mignogna's Broly.

If he could use those screams with another voice, he'd probably be a great fit.

I've heard that suggestion for Broly before and while I think he'd give an awesome performance in the role, I ultimately think he would be too overused by that point and thus be too recognizable. He was already playing the likes of Nappa, Spopovich, Supreme Kai and both Tournament and ZTV announcer so if he was trying to create another unique voice for Broly on top of all that it might heavily restrict his performance. Usually I don't mind that sort of thing when it's for a throwaway character in the background but for a major movie villain it would come off a little cheap, sort of reminiscent of many of the Big Green dubs and their constant reuse of the same actors.

Perhaps I'm just underestimating his range and he could pull off a unique voice for him but I would still be very reluctant to make that casting choice unless it was for a budget reason. If I had to choose between any of the Dobsons for Broly I'd probably settle for Paul Dobson as he was the least used of the three in DBZ. Paul could have used a similar voice to his Juggernaut for the transformed state and maybe even used a higher pitched voice in Broly's base form for contrasting effect once he transforms. It's still not an ideal casting choice in my opinion (especially if he'd also be playing Bardock) but he seems to be a better choice to settle for.

After listening to DSP's sample of Frieza, I wish the late Cris Latta could've voiced him in a Pre-Lay LA dub in the 80's.

On a side note, anyone else think Ken Jeong and Rachael Kimsey would make a good Champa and Vados?

Those all sound really good.

I think a lot of us wanted Charlie Adler as Freeza too

I'm sure someone's mentioned Latta somewhere. I think if DB'd been dubbed in the 90s with big budgets, that would've happened.

Simon Templeman as Vegeta is an interesting and inspired choice, definitely could pull off the arrogant princely angle but I'm not sure if he'd be hot blooded enough, then again I like the guy to want to see it happen.

Mark Hamill as Freeza, not the most inspired choice but still very effective.

as I said before, great list.
