Miazaki is a great film maker. Being a nerd about him is the same as being a ners about Disney, Bogart, Chaplin or Keaten It is just a mater of pride.

All Disney x Ghibli dubs.

Pokemon 4kids

Slayers

Hokuto no Ken

Maybe Outlaw Star, once I get to seeing it properly.

Wish I could think of more.

Neon Genesis Evangelion
Slayers
Dragon Ball Z (Funimation) (Nothing wrong with the Oceans dub. Just the Funimation one is the one I'm more used to)
Digimon Adventure
Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040
Fushigi Yugi (I know some people weren't fans of this dub, but I thought it was fine)
Cowboy Bebop
Kiki's Delivery Service (Disney version)
And Princess Mononoke

I would have put Sailor Moon on here but since only the original dub was in the 90's I couldn't have it on this list. And I grew up watching the original dub like every day. With that one it's the Viz redub or Japanese version for me.

I also would have added Yu Yu Hakusho, but didn't because the actual show's dub didn't start till 2002. Just after the 90's.

Since this is favorite English dubs from only the 1990s, I guess these would be my favorite from that Era (if they lasted into the 2000s, I'll mention it):

- Slayers (TAJ; Liked all its dubs except for the ADV one which I was still OK with, and it lasted into 2010 with different incarnations- even made Lisa Ortiz fun for me, which is rare since I don't really care for her work all that much)
- Princess Mononoke (Pretty classic)
- Pokemon (4Kids; 1998-2006: I liked all 8 years of its run, was a pretty lighthearted & fun show)
- Cowboy Bebop (Bandai; Steve Blum as Spike Spiegel alone was too awesome)
- Totoro (I actually prefer the older version over the Disney version, just seemed like the voice work was stronger to me in the former)
- Ranma 1/2 (Ocean/Viz; Great voice work for the time)

Can't think of any others I'm really too familiar with from the 1990s that I really liked, though.

I know this is kinda an old thread now, but it is extremely relevant to my interests. I have seen a LOT of 90s dubs... but here are the best imo:

- Slayers (the dub gets better at around episode 14, there was a hiatus and some actors changed)
- The Irresponsible Captain Tylor
- Pokemon
- Here is Greenwood (Software Sculptors dub; This one is really cute, the actors take a bit to warm up, but they were all pretty new to the job. (Ted Lewis' reacts in ep 1-2 are kinda funny I love them)

There are other dubs that I like from the 90s, but these are the ones that I can say are more objectively amazing.

My favorites include

Pokemon - Man Pokémon was such a big hit here in the UK and I more or less have SMTV Live (CITV) to thank. As for the dub itself it was glorious stuff, who knew that Eric Stuart would eventually become Kaiba?

Digimon - Yes it may have caused a battle between fans of this and Pokémon but personally I enjoy both series and this was one of Saban's best dubs. *Funnily enough it also aired on CITV, same channel that was airing Pokémon*

Akira - Streamline - This one's definitely aged and it has some really weak performances but man do I consider this one a guilty pleasure. The Pioneer dub is still superior but if I want some cheesy laughs then I normally go to this dub... and the Speedy dub of Dragonball.

Cowboy Bebop - Come on, do I even need to say how masterful this dub is? I'm pretty sure everyone in the population has beat me to it.

Most of Disney's 90's Ghibli dubs

Sorry to burst your bubble on this, but only Digimon Adventure and Pokémon were from the 90's. Digimon Adventure 02, Digimon Tamers, Hamtaro and the Original Yu-Gi-Oh! were from the 2000's.
