What better time to do a dream cast for this franchise than during DINOSAUR WEEK?
![]() Many of these characters have such established voices (especially for me, growing up with these films being some of my favourite) that it's very difficult to imagine them sounding any other way. But as time passes, child actors grow too old for parts, actor availability changes and, in sad cases, VAs pass away. To quote Black Widow: "Nothing lasts forever". Just starting off with the main cast: Littlefoot - Jeremy Shada Cera - Cree Summer Ducky - Tara Strong Petrie - Eric Bauza Spike - (really, anyone who can grunt and mumble) Grandpa Longneck - Jim Cummings or Garry Chalk Grandma Longneck - BJ Ward or April Winchell Cera's Dad - Clancy Brown, Corey Burton, Gregg Berger or Garry Chalk |

I'll admit to having watched this series for a while as a kid, so heck, may as well try this out.
*Littlefoot - Tabitha St. Germain *Cera - Chantal Strand *Ducky - Claire Corlett *Petrie - Ian James Corlett *Grandpa Longneck - Garry Chalk *Grandma Longneck - Nicole Oliver *Daddy Topps - Richard Newman |

![]() Anywho, those are some good ideas! I'll take a crack at some Ocean-specific casting, too. Littlefoot - One of the Drummond kids Cera - Venus Terzo Ducky - Anna Cummer Petrie - Sam Vincent or Brian Drummond Grandpa Longneck - Garry Chalk Grandma Longneck - Kathleen Barr Cera's Dad - Richard Newman (really, this makes so much more sense than Garry) |

It's just that it was mostly the sequels, which I understand aren't held in as high a regard as the first one (even if they have their fanbase regardless), and I have to say they likely don't live up to my own current standards either.
Anyway, Barr would likely be a better choice for Grandma than Oliver would be. And I think someone else proposed Newman as Topps before I decided to go with it; I actually kinda struggled trying to come up with someone who would sound as close to Ingle as Chalk does to Mars. For a short time I went with Dale Wilson based on if he tweaked his Semi-Perfect Cell voice a bit. However, if we were going LA, Richard McGonagle would be a great choice for that ![]() |

Though I think Ellen Kennedy would be a better choice for Grandma Longneck. |
