A lot of video game commercials and some movie commercials have completely original voice acting not found in said video game/movie. For example, the recent commercials for Ice Age: Collision Course have Sid telling the audience to go see the movie, and the commercial for Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins has an animated Wario hypnotizing the viewer and telling them to destroy Mario.
What I want to know is how these would be classified. Would they be classified specifically to the game/movie, to the company (like Nintendo), or in the case of games, to the console (like Game Boy)? |

Hmm. That is an excellent question, Teridaxx.
![]() ie, "Ice Age Commercials" (for the franchise in general) or "Ice Age: Collision Course Commercials" (title-specific) |

Personally, I'd think it would make more sense to make the page specifically for the movie or game it was advertising, rather than the franchise as a whole (unless, or course it is simply advertising the franchise as a whole).
An issue I thought of after starting this topic is that these commercials vary drastically by country, like American and Japanese commercials. We'd document these all on the same page, right? |
