Default Rugrats

Seeing how the show's looking to be revived sometime, they're obviously going to have to do some recasting to cover for the cast members who have come to be corporeally-challenged since the show was last around.

Concerning Stu, Seth MacFarlane's really the closest in my mind to matching Riley's sound, plus he's versatile enough that he could do some other guest or bit parts if they need any. As for Grandpa Lou, I think Stephen Root would fit the part, or Dana Snyder even if it's a bit of a reach.

How about Jeff Bennett or Jeff Bergman or Grandpa Lou?

I mulled over Bennett on account of his Azmuth, but passed him over in favor of who I felt would be closer matches and lesser-known names. I suppose some other voice he did would be suitable, though I wouldn't know which off the top of my head.

I think Snyder would make a good Lou. I always felt like he had a few vocal similarities to the late Joe Alasky.

I'm also trying to figure out who would be a good sound alike to Michael Bell for Drew. Wally Wingert maybe?

Oh, Seth as Stu's a good idea. I never put together the vocal similarities until now. Plus, it'd just be great to see him in more non-Family Guy related titles.

I'd go with Dana Snyder, personally, for Grandpa Lou. Dana would make a better voice match, while Stephen, who's a talented guy, would be a good choice if they didn't feel the need to perfectly voice match.

I can maybe see Maurice LaMarche fitting as Grandpa Lou. Like tweaking his Inspector Gadget voice.

LaMarche as Lou wouldn't be too bad.

Didn't think about Drew since Bell's still around, though considering how up-there he is, doesn't hurt to be safe. On that front, I'm thinking either John Kassir or Nolan North could do it.

Michelle Ruff as Dil Pickles anyone? This voice led me to this idea.
