Default Re: Having Trouble uploading mp3 File.

I'm having this same issue and my files are below 3mb in size and do not have any strange characters in them.

Default says my mp3 files are invalid mp3's

When I submit my mp3's to submit for a project in the casting call listings, I keep getting the following error:

Your audition for Philip J. Fry was unsuccessfully submitted due to the following.
- application/octet-stream - J1.mp3 is not a valid mp3.
- application/octet-stream - J2.mp3 is not a valid mp3.
- application/octet-stream - J3.mp3 is not a valid mp3.

Please try again. If you need any help please contact an Admin or post your issue in our forums.

I have triple checked the files and they are all fine....the website is being picky or is not reading them correctly. Can you help me with this?

I happened to me too and I renamed the file and it can be submitted after thatl
I've been having the same issue too, I tried this and it didn't do anything

Angry Re: Casting Call - Trouble Uploading MP3s

I am also having this issue. My file is below 3 mb and it has no weird characters in its name. The most I have for "special character" is the number 2. I have tried renaming and even recreating the mp3 through mixcraft but it has done no good. The audition file works just fine in castingcallclub. Why doesn't it work here?

Default Valid MP3

I recorded my lines through Garageband and exported them as MP3 files. I play them through itunes as a double check. But once I try to upload them to submit for an audition the website says they are not valid mp3 files. can someone help me
