Funny, I also considered Lance Henrisken after posting my Grogar dream cast and before reading your reply.

Alright, now that Friendship is Magic has ended (at least the TV show), I have some dream cast ideas for the upcoming generation 5 of My Little Pony assuming at least 25-30% of the cast ends up Los Angeles based (and if the following characters end up reused):

Princess Celestia: Bonnie Hunt, Charlize Theron, Kristen Wiig
Queen Chrysalis: Lisa Edelstein, Lori Alan, Susanne Blakeslee, Laurie Metcalf
King Sombra: Michael C. Hall, Alan Tudyk, George Clooney, Jim Meskimen
Lord Tirek: Fred Tatsciore, Michael Leon Wooley, Robin Atkin Downes
Grogar: Keith David, Corey Burton, Jeffrey Tambor, Helmut Bakaitis

Settled on Richard McGonagle as Grogar for my final LA FiM cast.

Also, the next gen should either be based in Vancouver again or in New York like what they're doing with Transformers lately, if only to keep the casting actually interesting.

I've been thinking they might move MLP to NYC for the G5 cartoon too.

Part of me wants to stick with Vancouver though.

Hence why I brought up the "25-30%" thing as I had a feeling the majority would remain in Vancouver, though it's interesting to hear that New York based VAs are a possibility too.
