I grew up with several of the Goku VA's when I first got into Dragonball/DBZ, so even though Sean kind of became "my" Goku I always respected the other VA's and what they brought to the table.

So it was really disappointing seeing Mr. Schemmel partake in such a petty feud and having this come out like this, especially since I was under the impression he was actually a pretty nice guy in real life.

I'm glad this was able to resolve itself and Peter Kelamis will also be able to attend Kameha Con, even if it's a shame it had to come under doubt in the first place.

You may have noticed that, despite this being my thread, I largely stayed out of this discussion. This is partly because everything I was going to say has already been said, and it seemed pointless to repeat the same things. However, I will now come in with something that few, if any, people have been talking about - that this reflects really badly on Kameha Con itself. As the first exclusively Dragon Ball convention, it had the potential - and, indeed, the responsibility - to unite and appeal to all fans, regardless of their preferences. And in one fell swoop, they blew it. However this happened behind the scenes, in the end it just makes them look biased and downright unprofessional. They've really got to prove themselves from this point on.

Also, I'm glad their action was reversed, because it could've set a very dangerous precedent - one where anyone with a grudge could exclude a rival simply based on their position in the fandom. Indeed, why stop there? I can imagine entire panels being vetoed on that basis. Possibly, I am blowing this out of proportion a tiny bit, but for me, it's still a worry.

Moving on to other matters, that's one surprise guest down. I'm now curious as to who the others are going to be. After all, most of the major FUNi cast members are accounted for.

- Another Ocean actor (Scott McNeil anyone?)
- Another different dub actor (Does the Paris pool even do cons? Cause either them or a BZ guy)

Personally, I think Scott McNeil's the most likely candidate of those you listed. He's definitely someone worth springing on people. My other thought it that they might bring in Zamasu's actor (whoever he may be...), and thus end the speculation. Let's be honest, if there's ever a place to do it, it's here.

As far as I know, the AB actors don't do conventions - after all, they'd be shoe-ins for Code Lyoko alone. And as much as I'd love for a couple of them to show up here, the fact that they don't seem to be currently well-known in the fandom (at least, if you haven't been on here) may count against them. Still, it's not impossible, and, in any case, we can't write off anything yet.

I have to say I'd never even considered Jeannie Tirado as a possibility, but nonetheless, it's great to see one of the newest cast members taking part. I have a feeling that makes my idea about Zamasu's actor a bit more likely - assuming we're seeing a pattern here.

On that note, I'm not sure if we have two more left, or just one. I have a feeling Jeremy Inman was added after I was made aware of the surprise guests and their number.
